KATNISS' POV
I storm out of the canteen and search for Peeta and the bitch. I swear to god when I get my hands on her she is not going to have any hair left on her perfect little barbie doll head.
I turn the corner and my mouth drops. Peeta has Glimmer pushed up against MY locker and they are making out as if their lives depended on it.
"WHAT THE HELL!!" I scream. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Tears are now streaming down my face.
Peeta tries to jump back from Glimmer but she holds him close to her.
"Kat, let me explain," Peeta starts,
"You don't have to explain anything. I get it. You're bored of me so you decided to move onto this slutbag. I get it" i spit.
"No, Kat, its not like that" he says,
"It sure looked like it the way you were lip-locking with her" i choke out. "You know what, forget it. See ya around Peeta."
"No, Kat, don't go" Peeta struggles to say.
"You promised always. I guess not" i whisper before turning and walking away.
I hear footsteps, Peeta's footsteps, running towards me. He grabs my arm and spins me around.
"WHAT?" I yell tears making my mascara run.
A crowd had now gathered to watch what was going on and I wanted to yell at them all to piss off.
"I...just let me explain." He says.
"No, just forget it. The heart wants what it wants" i reply
"I love you" he says
I just shake my head, twist my arm out of his grip and run through the crowd.
As i run through the canteen everybody's heads turn to look at me. They could probably hear the screaming and had guessed what happened.
Why did he do that? He left me for the dumbest, meanest girl in the school. Who he hates! I don't get it.
I hear footsteps running after me, probably Peeta's, but it doesn't matter because I am long gone.
But only one thought sticks in my head.
I still love him. I am still in love with Peeta Mellark.
