--KATNISS' POV--

Some hands grab onto my waist and spin me around and a pair of lips come crashing onto mine.

I pull away as soon as I realise what was happening.
"Peeta? What the hell do you think you're doing?" I spit.
"I forgot how good that felt." He replied.
"Whats that supposed to mean? Where is Glimmer? God, she is gonna kill me!" I scream.
"Kat, nothing is gonna happen to you. Glimmer is in jail. Shes a pycopath." He says chuckling slightly.
"What do you mean in Glimmer is in jail?" I fire.
"Right, I think I should probably explain some things to you. You deserve some answers." He says.
"Sure as hell I do." I reply.
"Well, a week before we broke up, Glimmer phoned me and told me to break up with you. She threatened to kill Prim and your mum if I didn't go out with her. I was supposed to break up with you that day in the meadow, when I asked you to prom. But I was to scared. I didn't want to loose you. But when Glimmer found out she was furious and decided that she had to take matters into her own bitchy hands. The day we broke up, Glimmer force kissed me and, well you know what happened next."
I stood there dazed as to what he was telling me.
"She told me to turn all of our friends again you too. So I did. God, I felt so bad. I hated it. Hated being so bitchy to you. Anyway, the guys and I decided that we needed to take her down. So we came up with a plan. We recorded all the conversations that we had with her and, when we had enough, we took it to the police. They handled it from there. Right now she is locked away from ever being able to hurt you. And now I hope that you can find some way to forgive me." He says and then he smiles his cute, adorable smile.
By now the tears had started to run down my cheeks uncontrollably.
"Kat, don't cry. Please don't cry." Peeta says.
"This whole time, I thought that you hated me and that you wanted to ruin my life. And I hated you for it. Bu-but you we-were just trying to help keep my family alive." I sobbed loudly.
"Thank you Peeta." I whispered.
He pulled me in for a hug and I didn't even think twice about hugging him back. His body was so warm, I had forgotten how it felt. When I pull away Peeta whispers something in my ear.
"I love you, Katniss."
"I love you too, Peeta." I laugh through my tears.
Peeta leans his head towards mine and our lips connect. They move in sync and I am sure that they fit perfectly together. When I pull away, I just stay there, wrapped in his arms.
"Stay with me." I whisper.
"Always"
