Wonderland in Barcalona

Chapter Eight- End of the night

I drunk my drink slowly we stood outside and it was really warm, I smiled my life seems so much better then how it was. I looked around for Adam. But I couldn't see him, I walked up to lea and smiled he smiled back, "what's up?" lea asked, I looked around. "Where's Adam?" I asked lea laughed. "Properly shoving his tongue down someone's throat" lea said sarcastically. I raised my eyebrow, I walked around the corner Kat following me out of curiosity, I stopped dead stiffening a laugh, and Kat covered her mouth. I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture and both me and Kat disappeared back round the corner laughing, we looked at the photo: it was of Adam and Chris snogging. He's gay! I drunk more of my drink at the moment I grabbed it off the table. I turned and looked at the view, it was the sun setting over the sea it was really beautiful.

A minute later my phone went off, It was Kat...and phil...She properly put her number in my phone while I was in a bath. I checked the text:

"there cute right! Kat x"

I rolled my eyes at that message. I didn't reply but looked at the other message it was from a Phil, I raised a eyebrow and read the message.

'Alice, hope your okay. Heard you had to be seen by a doctor I don't know the details but checking if your okay, see you next week! Phil.'

After around ten minutes we all made our way to a quiet bit of beach, Kat dropped a rucksack next to me. "so what's in the rucksack?" I asked peering over the bag, Kat smiled and tapped her nose. I rolled my eyes, and fell back with a thump. "swimming costumes" Kat shouted and gave everyone there swimming costume, swimming at night? In the sea? That's new. I refused mine she just shrugged and put hers on and ran off, leaving me and Daniel on the beach. Wonderful.

I rubbed my eyes, I was starting to get tired. But I was happy, nothing could ruin this right now.

I felt a pair of arms around my waist and legs, I looked and saw Chris picking me up, "hey?!" I exclaimed, Chris smirked, his eyes screamed mischief, spoke too soon, Chris carried me towards the sea, it hit me, "please don't" I said struggling. And failed miserably, Chris handed me to a wet Shane, who carried me into the sea, "ready?" he asked. "NO!" I nearly screamed, "too bad. Down ya go" he said then dropped me into the sea, I held my breath, and tried to regain some sense so, I swam.

I was wrong about my happiness being ruined, I am soaking. I stood up in the sea now at a area which I could stand. I saw everyone laugh. "hate you all" I said wiping my face. I felt something on my ankle I screamed, and Shane popped his head up laughing. I pouted and playfully punched his arm. "arse" I said getting out of the sea. I walked over to Chris who was standing smirking. "hate you most" I said pointing at him. I went through the rucksack and pulled out a tank top and a skirt, I scowled at Chris, who held up a towel and looked away. So I could change. This is so annoying! And they are mean. I changed quickly, and finally put my hair in a bun, so it didn't wet any of the cloths.

I snatched the towel of Chris and walked off drying my hair and face. I sighed, watching everyone in the water, now also including Chris.

I smiled sadly. "wish this could last forever" I whispered clinging to the towel. I sighed, "you okay Alice?" a voice asked, I turned and saw a soaking wet Shane, we only wore a pair of shorts, I saw his six pack. I held my breath and turned away my gaze.

I nodded, "im fine" I lied a little. I wasn't that fine, "then why are you crying?" Shane asked now standing infront of me, I touched my cheek, and I was crying. Shane smiled a little and wiped my face, getting rid of the tears. "i..im just tired" I said wiping my face quickly. Shane tilted his head, but smiled. "I might go back to the hotel, if okay" I said walking to the rucksack and picking up my bag. "sure, I will tell

the others" Shane shouted before pushing Daniel into the sea I smiled, and nodded.

I walked for five minutes to get to the road where I summoned a taxi, who took me back to the hotel, I paid the 20 euros and made my way inside exhausted and still a bit wet. Steeping into the reception bit, I took out my phone and decided I should text Shane. Thank you Kat for putting all the contacts into my phone.

'just got into the hotel, hope your having fun. Alice x'

I quickly sent it and looked in my bag for the key card, I swore under my breath, Kat has my key card, I walked up to reception were a nice looking lady stood, "sorry, I need a key card. My mate has mine" I said she looked at me and nodded smile on her face, I glanced at the clock, it was quarter past one, in the morning! "Alice western, thought it was you" the lady said, I looked at her. And frowned...she looked familiar brown bob hair, blue eyes, little chubby could it be... "aunt Marie?" I asked she smiled. I gasped a little. "I have not seen you in a good 8 years my girl. How are you?" she asked I nodded, "okay I guess, still with the red queen so not all that good" I said rubbing my eyes, Marie smiled sadly, "here is your card, guessing Kat got yours?" she asked I took the card and nodded. I quickly yawned. Marie laughed, "go to bed, how about breakfast in the morning?" she asked, "yes! Defiantly. Heres my number" I said jotting down my number which she took. I smiled and went to the elevator waving to Marie, and quickly getting in.

I Managed to get into the apartment with out any hassle. Yay! As soon as I got in I went straight for the bed, and fell onto it. So very tired, I was about to drift off, when my phone went off. "for fuck sake" I said reaching for my phone, I decided if im up I quickly got into a pair of pj's, and put my phone on charge, I checked the message at the same time it was from Shane:

'glad to hear, not that much fun here, just chucking Daniel into the sea, well... that's quite cool. He screams like a girl btw. Anyway, sleep well. Maybe see you tomorrow or something? The lovable door Mouse x'

I laughed and put down my phone setting a alarm for tomorrow morning. I climbed under the warm blankets and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out cold.
