We made it up to the room without a word being said, or anything broken too be exact.
"I'm not doing lunch with her! It's not even my birthday! Can somebody text my mother and sternly state tomorrow 8pm dinner some place nice" I muttered walking into the bathroom and having a half an hour long, hot shower.
I ended up dressing in a pair of black leggings with a off the shoulder grey long sleeved top, paired with my black converse.
"What's the plan?" Kat asked, everybody nodding in agreement, "well... Shane has to pick up Sophie today.." Chris muttered not looking at us, but his nails... we urged him to continue.
He over dramatically sighed, "go to Shane, meet Sophie, she will love you, and BLOODY GET ALONG!" Chris stated, my mouth dropped into the shape of a '0' and I nodded, "who's taking me? And what is everyone else gonna do?" I asked, they looked at each other and smirked, Kat pulled out her phone and started typing away, so did Becky and Chris.
"We will stay here! And... Cheshire is taking you, he's outside go!" They all yelled shoving me out the room an into Cheshire, "ready I'm guessing?" He stated smirking, I nodded mutely and we headed down stairs.
I looked over at Cheshire in the lift, he looked sad, but as soon as he saw me looking he grinned, I gave him a meek smile back.
What's wrong with Cheshire?
We reached outside and stepped into his car, a scruffy red pick up truck, I loved it, "sorry it's not much" he muttered, I shrugged, jumping in.
"I like it" I stated honesty, he gave me a small smile and started to drive."Why do you look sad?" I asked, looking out the window, "what do you mean?" He muttered, not looking at me, "every time you think no one is looking, you always seem sad, but when people look at you, you dust it off and start smiling" I whispered, thinking off the all the times I've seen Cheshire sad.
No one spoke for a whole until he finally broke the silence.
"Life isn't easy, and Family isn't always there, so we do the easy things, we hide our emotions with a smile and pretend everything is okay, answer every question with 'I'm Fine' or 'I'm tired'.
we make up the excuses so people don't see the real us, a broken person inside, pretending everything is fine and hoping, wishing we was... Normal.
I smile so people can't see the scars I hide and secrets I own, Alice" he explained.
Now I understood, he was broken, and no body was there to see him, to fix him, I looked at Cheshire, he was staring at the road ahead, knuckles white from holding the steering wheel tightly, my eyes drifted to the inside of his wrists where stood scars and cuts, scars an cuts of a blade, he hurt himself to see if it would make him feel something, anything.
"Stop the car" I ordered, tears in my eyes.
Cheshire pulled over the car and looked at me, "Alic-" he started but got cut off by me throwing my arms around his neck, I hugged him, he stiffened but slowly wrapped his arms around me,
"you are Amazing, please... stop doing this to yourself, stop hurting yourself it is not worth it, we all love you Cheshire. so stop, I don't want to lose you" I muttered, Cheshire gulped but nodded and he gave me a smile, a sad but true smile.
I pulled back and sat on my seat, "next time you want to do that, call me, I don't want you to do this to yourself anymore" I ordered with a stern voice and a deathly glare, "ay ay capt'in" he said with with small chuckle, we started driving again and I barely heard him whisper...
"Thank you Alice"
