"what the fuck are they doing?" eden whispered to dallas.

"i don't know, but the boys need to get their blades ready. pass it on."

eden whispered to each boy that they need to be prepared to fight. it was like these socs couldn't give up. this time, eden understood why considering johnny killed a soc. if someone killed a grease, they'd never let it down so it was only fair the socs acted out. it was about johnny though, therefore the gang would still do anything to defend him. after all, that's what johnny was doing-defending himself and pony.

by the time the movie ended, the gang got up and walked to the exit, the socs hot on their tracks. the boys made sure eden was in the middle of them with johnny due to her crutch situation.

like that was stopping her from anything.

the tense feeling kept getting thicker as the socs got closer and closer, till they were out of the drive-in's sight.

eden started to get annoyed and claustrophobic so she stopped and made her way to the socs.

"what do you guys need?"

a blonde soc came up to her face, uncomfortably close.

"we want to fight little grease."

"then let's get to it boys." she grabbed one crutch and hit the kid straight in the nose. he fumbled back and held his face.

the rest of the gang ran up to the socs and did all they could to beat their faces in.

johnny hid himself away from everyone, watching them do their thing. he noticed eden looking around for him so he yelled her name.

"eden! i'm fine, focus on doing what you're doing."

"johnny i need you to go ho- fuck." a soc punched her head in from behind making her fall to the ground as she tried to stay awake.

the boys all saw her wincing on the floor, gasps could be heard by two and dallas. this only made the fight more heated. darry could take on two men at a time, so he told dallas to go and check on her. he ran to where she was laying and held her up so she'd stay awake.

"fuck eden, i need you to stay awake alright?" dallas was beyond worried.

"dal, dal, i'm fine." she reassured, her words slurring.

"i'm taking you to tim when this is over. darry's gotta carry you cause we know damn well i can't carry you with that shit on your leg." they both stifled a laugh, dallas happy she's fighting to stay awake.

in any other situation without the gang, she would've fallen asleep and let herself fall into a coma, even die at that. now though, she did anything but try and fall into that. she needed to be awake and she kept fighting.

after a few blades were pulled and punches were sent, the socs were probably even more heated but too tired to keep fighting. they all walked to eden, the same blonde soc kneeling to her level on the ground.

"you think this is the end? you think you can break my nose like that? tell your little brother johnny- oh tim and curly too that they have no idea what's coming. this whole town doesn't. y'all take down one soc, we take down all you little greasers. one. by. fucking. one. and i don't mean fighting either. y'all are dead meat." he spat before getting up and limping off with his group.

eden was too tired to even cry out of fear, but her anxiety rose, keeping her awake but also keeping her close to a damn heart attack.

"cmon we're taking eden home. tomorrow morning, i'm heading to the gun shop and y'all are gonna keep an eye on this girl. am i clear?" darry ordered while everyone complied.
