(Y/N POV)
"BATTER UP!" I sighed. "Is there anyway I can get out of this?" I asked Utahime Sensei. "Stop being a loser and get on the plate." She said holding on to a bat. I grabbed it from her, "fine, I'll strike out on purpose." I grumbled. "No you wont, Mai's sister is pitching so you better knock it out the park." I shuddered at what she said. And low and behold there was Maki waiting to pitch. "Come now (Y/N), I dont bite." She said smirking causing my face to heat up until Mai stepped on my foot with her cleats. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" I yelled at her and she continued to ignore me. What a bitch.

I got to the plate and readied up. I tensed up as she threw the pitch and swung as hard as I could. The ball went up into the air and I started running the bases. It was almost a home run until, "I got it." Panda had caught it and I stood there with my mouth wide open. "That is some complete BULLSH-" "Just walk it off (Y/N)." Aoi said causing me to huff and sit back down on the bench. When the side was retired we continued to play at a stand still. Everything was fine until Mai had pulled out a pitching machine.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!" "Everyone get out the way, Kugisaki snapped!" Yuji yelled as we gathered around the pitching mound. "It's Mechamaru, he cant play since you guys broke him." Mai said. I bursted into laughter over the sight. "It's always something with you isnt it?" Nobara said to her. "Jesus why dont you guys just kiss each other already." I yawned. "I'll kiss someone alright~" Mai said tilting my face up. "Can we get the game back started please." Maki said. Me and Mai looked at her and I moved her hand away.

It was Maki's turn to bat and I was in the outfield alternating. She hit the ball with no effort and began to slowly jog to the bases, but Momo caught it.  "HUH?!" Maki said. I put my hat over my face and started laughing. "Kugisaki go back." Megumi said. The game was agonizingly slow. The highlight of the game is when Maki knocked Aoi out INTENTIONALLY. I felt bad and shook my head. It was the final ending and it was Yuji's turn. And my boy hit a home run and Tokyo had won.

I had gathered my things and made my way outside with the others. As they continued walking away I stopped. I turned to Yuji and the others. "It was a honor being here with you guys. I had a lot of fun, made new friends, and even got a little stronger." I said smiling. Yuji and Nobara had tears in their eyes making me giggle. I walked up pulled us into a big group hug. "(Y/N) I DONT WANT YOU TO GO!" "ME EITHER, IM GONNA MISS YOU!" They yelled and I sighed pulling away. "I'll come around as often as possible. Next time I see you guys, I'll be 10 times stronger." I said giving them a thumbs up.

"I'll miss you all, stay safe." I said before turning to walk away. As I was walking I heard a ruckus. "GOD GOJO WILL YOU SHUT UP!" Utahime said yelling at Gojo while he laughed. They stopped and looked at me. "And just where are you going (Y/N)?" Gojo sensei asked. I tilted my head in confusion. "What do you mean? Im going home." I said. "No you aren't." Utahime sensei sighed. "WHAT!" I heard Mai and the others say. "(Y/N) will be staying in Tokyo where she can develop and grow. When she feels she is ready she can come back to Kyoto if she pleases."

Yuji and Nobara tackled me to the ground crying. I hugged them and cried as well. We wiped our tears and I looked at Utahime sensei and ran up to her. "Do you mean it?" I asked. "If its for your well-being yes, and you're always welcome to come home. ESPECIALLY if people start to agrivate you." She said glaring at Gojo sensei. "I'll turn her into a top notch sorcerer, one day she'll be on my level." He said ruffling my hair. I looked at Aoi and the others. They all had sad smiles on their faces except Mai. I hugged them, "I love you guys so much..." I choked out.

"Come on (Y/N) stop crying, you're too old for that!" Todo said. "Make sure you be good (Y/N)." Momo said. "Im so happy for you (Y/N), get super strong." Miwa said. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned to see Jr. "Noritoshi, I-" "Its ok (Y/N), I had a feeling this would happen. Get stronger and come home. It'll be a bore not having you around though." He said. "Those are the nicest words you've said to me in a while. I promise once I get stronger I will come home." I grinned holding my hand out. He looked at me and smiled. "Very well, we shall be waiting." He said turning away. I grabbed him and pulled him into a hug, "Get better soon...big brother." I forced myself to say.

I walked up to Mai. I knew this probably wouldn't end well. "Mai...listen..." "Dont even. I knew you'd leave me the first chance you got." She whispered. Her words were like knives. "Its not like that, just hear me-" She punched me in the face and Aoi grabbed her. "Never speak to me again..." she said on the brink of tears. Luckily everyone had already left so it was just me, Mai, and Aoi. She got out of his grasp and walked away and he followed close behind leaving me standing still, head still turned to the side.

I went back to my room and looked at my face in the mirror. It had a bruise and was sore as hell. I sighed and heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I said and Maki came in. "Good job today." She said sitting on my bed. "Thanks..." I grumbled sitting down beside her. "What happened to your face?" She asked. "It was Mai, she got mad at me for staying..." I said not being able to look at her. "I see." She said. "What were you going to tell me? The event is over now, so lets hear it." I looked at her in shock, I figured she would've forgotten by now.

I decided to play dumb. "Oh, uhh I forgot." I said rubbing the back of my neck and she narrowed her eyes at me. She sighed and put her forehead on mine. "Im not moving until you tell me." She said with our lips inches apart. No, not this time. "I wanted to tell you that I wanted to practice using cursed tools more." I said lying. She seemed to believe it though, "very well." She said backing away smiling. I sighed and continued to stare at her. Dont bring up the kiss dont bring up the kiss. "Im sorry for kissing you!" I blurted out immediately putting my hands over my mouth.

She raised her eyebrows at me. "Dont worry about it." She said. "You're not mad?" I asked. She shook her head no. I stood up and started to walk away until she grabbed my hand. "(Y/N)?" "Im scared to fall in love, but it keeps happening the longer im around you. Im not saying I want a relationship, but please don't push my feelings to the side." I said and she laughed. "I'll acknowledge your feelings."

This has to be a dream right. She flicked my forehead snapping me back into reality. "You ok?" She asked grinning. "I'll make you fall in love with me!" I said. "Oh? Is that so? I cant wait to see it." She said winking at me. We waved goodbye and I closed my door. I sat on my bed and it didn't hit me what she had said until 15 minutes after she had left. "MAKI WAIT!" I said getting up and flinging the door open.
