Rain (Nineteen)

It felt nice to be wanted around, ya know, (even if I kind of already knew that subconsciously, ya know), I didn't know that I actually needed to hear that until I actually heard it, (which seems weird, even to me, but I'm only saying the truth here), though maybe it's to do with being kicked out in the first place, (which isn't fun to think about, ya know Babes).

Anyway we were walking home from school, (as you do), the clouds looked so bloody grey, which meant that it was going to rain, (because ya know, British weather and all that jazz), it was Ro and I with Clo and Bex, as Soph was in the school library and Mykie was playing football with her mates, (though when wasn't she doin that?).

"I hope that it doesn't bloody rain"
"You now fucking jinxed it Bex"
"Oh piss off Bee"
"At least Ro is going to be happy if it does rain"
"Why's that Clo?"
"Because Bee, I have always loved the rain, it annoyed Dad sometimes when I was younger as I always wanted to be out in it, even when I was sick and it would've been detrimental to my health here"

Just as Rowan had finished her explanation in her love of rain, well it started to bloody rain on us didn't it, (it was like fate honestly, which was weird to me as I wasn't a firm believer in fate), Rowan started dancing, (because of course she did), but I couldn't really be that annoyed as she actually looked happy, so I actually started to dance with her, (don't ask me what made me do it that peculiar time and not before then, as I don't actually know why).

Yes I was just as shocked as you are that I actually did it, (I usually hated the rain), but God it was so fucking fun, like I realised that she was definitely onto something here, (and I told her as such but maybe I shouldn't have as she dragged me out into the rain a few times after this point Babes).

"Ro!"
"Yeah Bee!"
"You might be onto something here!"
"I fucking know that Bee!"
"Oh don't fucking be like that Rowan!"
"(Snorts), Love ya too Bee!"

Shit, if that didn't reinforce that I was wanted then I don't know what would have reinforced it to me?, (but then I'm not an expert on feelings here, especially my own personal feelings here, so don't necessarily take it from me here, ok), also I didn't want to sound like a massive mush pile here, so instead I said about the rain again, (as avoidance was a skill that I had mastered down to a t if I'm being completely honest).

"You know Ro, I've always tried to avoid being out in the rain, but this has been quite fun!"
"I'm glad that you think so Bee"
"Don't say what I think that you're gonna say Mate"
"What is it that you think that I'm gonna say?"
"It begins with I and ends with so"
"(Snorts), You know me so well Bee!"
"That's because she lives with ya Ro"
"Fuck off Clo"
"I'd rather not though"

This was lightest that I had remembered feeling in forever, as I was able to have a laugh with my friends and not worry about exams or what was gonna happen next, and I didn't feel on edge, which was a fucking shock to me, (as I always felt on edge here, ya know).

It was literally like that scene in singing in the rain, (I have watched this a lot since moving in thanks to Rowan here), and it was so fucking weird to be what seemed like an old movie scene, (as we were very not in that era of movie in real life here Babes), but yet it was actually quite a lot of fun lol.

"You 2 are fucking nuts!"
"Well we are Addams Clo!"
"Yes Bee!, you tell her!"

It might've just been a slip of the tongue at first, but it was true, we are both Addams and it actually felt nice to acknowledge that I was actually an Addams, (though not legally yet), could that play a part in why I was really loving dancing in the rain?, probably, but it wasn't a bad thing to actually enjoy either though.

"Oh so you'll move for Bex here, but I ask ya Bee, it's 'Well we're Addams', like how is that fair?"

"(Snorts), Oh shit Clo, you just got burned!"
