"True that..." he said. "Look... I know he can be a git sometimes. But he's a caring brother towards me... the way he acted was because of how our father raise him..." I said. "I highly doubt that... I bet that's just how he is... that guy have a huge ego and arrogance" he said. "Be careful with what you said. He's still my brother!" I hissed. "Sorry..." he said, flinching at my glare.

Then...

-Buckbeak The Hippogriff-

Y/N P.O.V

"Ta-da!!!" Hagrid said. We turn our head to see one of the magical creature. "I present to you, Buckbeak! The Hippogriff!!" He said. "He's beautiful..." I said, staring at the Hippogriff in awe.

"Indeed, he is... they're magnificent creature. Thank you, Y/N..." he said, smiling at me. I just smile back at him and turn to look at the Hippogriff as it stares back at me.

"Anyone would like to volunteer? Come on... don't be shy..." Hagrid said. I glance around to see no one seem to be stepping forward, instead they took a step back. This is Hagrid's first lesson, and I don't want him to feel disappointed.

I take a deep breath and raise my hand. "I'll go..." I said. Hagrid starts beaming at me. "Well done, Y/N! Now come on..." he said. I take a few cautious steps. "Now bow... if he bows back, then you can approach him. But if he doesn't... well we'll get to that soon..." he said. I gulp at what he just said. 'Oh Merlin... you should've mention that a little sooner...' I thought to myself. But there's no going back now.

I take one more step towards Buckbeak and bend forward in a bow. Buckbeak looks at me for a few seconds, then bows back. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Well done! Now you can pet him..." Hagrid said. I take cautious steps forward. "Slowly... don't alert him..." he said. He just stares at me. I outstretch my hand and close my eyes tightly.

I flinch when I feel something touching the palm of my hand. I open my eyes to see Buckbeak placing his beak on my hand. I breathe out a happy laugh. I just walk forward and gently caress his head.

He nudge his face to mine. "He seems to have taken a liking towards you, Y/N..." Hagrid said. "Really?" I said, turning to look at him. He nods his head. I grin and turn to Buckbeak. "I'm honored..." I said, as I gently caress his head. His feather is so soft against my hand.

"Now you get to ride him..." Hagrid suddenly said. I turn to look at him wide-eyed. "Wait... what? Hey hey hey! Put me down!! Hagrid!" I yelped as Hagrid picks me up and place me on Buckbeak's back.

"A-Are you s-sure this is safe?" I said, nervously as I sit on Buckbeak's back. Hagrid just laugh at as he looks at my scared face. "You'll be fine!!! Just don't pluck his feathers out... he wouldn't appreciate that" he said. Then he urge Buckbeak to fly.

Buckbeak starts to run at full speed. I let out a shriek as I feel scared. Then he soar up in the sky. I close my eyes tightly, clinging onto his neck. But all I feel is a soft breeze brushing through my hair.

I open my eyes and grin. "Wooo!!!!" I yelled happily. It's beautiful!! No words can describe how incredible this is! Oh Merlin... I'm so glad I volunteered.

He makes a turn and lands back on the ground quite gracefully. I grin as I slid down his back. "That was amazing, Hagrid!" I said. "I'm glad you enjoyed it, Y/N... oh... by the way, how was I for first class?" He said, crouching down in front of me. "Don't worry, Hagrid... you're doing fine..." I said, smiling at him. He smiles back and gently pat my head.

I hear footsteps coming towards us. I turn my head to see my brother. "You're not so dangerous are you, stupid bird" he said, as he walks towards Buckbeak. "Draco, no!" I said. Buckbeak turns to him and raise his front legs, slamming it down hitting Draco's arm.

Hagrid runs forward and stop Buckbeak. "Draco!" I said. I run towards him and kneel down. "It killed me! It killed me!!" He wailed, holding his arm in pain.

"Relax... it's just a small scratch..." Hagrid said. "We need to take him to the Hospital Wings!" Hermione said. "I'm the Professor... I should take him" Hagrid said, walking towards Draco. He lift my brother and start walking towards the Hospital Wings. Draco just keeps on sputtering curses towards Buckbeak.

I flinch when Buckbeak nudge his head on me. I turn to look at him and gently caress his head. Draco will tell this to father... I'm sure of it. Buckbeak will be in serious trouble.

Time-skip

I'm sitting in the dining hall with the rest of the Slytherin. My brother is still in the hospital wings due to his incident with Buckbeak. I know our dad will be coming to Hogwarts to deal with the whole Buckbeak incident. I want to stand up for Buckbeak, but I'm too scared to go against my dad.

That's not all... there's words going around that a prisoner from Azkaban is on the loose. It's a guy by the name Sirius Black.

He got sent to Azkaban because he was involved in a mass murderer. I also heard that Black is coming for Harry. This makes me feel worried. Especially with Harry getting The Grimm in Divination class and all. I really hope he's going to be alright.

I can hear someone calling out for me, snapping me out of my thought. I turn my head to see Harry who's sitting right behind me. "You're awfully silent... are you okay?" He said. "I'm fine... I'm just thinking. So don't worry..." I said, smiling at him.

"If you say so... are you done eating?" He said. I nod my head. "Let's go for a walk with Hermione, Ron and I" He said. I just nod my head and the four of us stand up. Then we leave the dining hall.

We stop by the garden and take a seat. "Now, what's really bothering you?" Harry said, as he sits next to me. "You're still onto that?" I said. "Well... Y/N... we have been friends for almost 3 years now... and that is enough for me know you. You're usually talkative. So to see you all silent and gloomy like that. I know there's something bothering you..." he said. I just let out a sigh.

"I'm just worried... for my brother. Then the whole Buckbeak incident. I'm pretty sure words have reach our dad... Buckbeak will be in trouble now..." I said. He just hums and wrap his arm around my shoulder. "Everything will be alright..." he said. "Don't be so sure..." I said. "I'm not... I'm just having a positive mindset..." he said. I just giggle and lean my head on his shoulder. It's so comfortable to be in his arms. I think...

I'm falling for Harry...
