Chapter 23

I can feel my eyes tearing up as the Boggart laughs at me in their forms. I shake my head and turn around. I brush passed the students and runs out of the class, with my hand covering my mouth as I try not to cry. I can't stay there anymore. It's getting too much.

-Feelings-

Y/N P.O.V

I keep running, wherever my feet would take me. I have never felt so embarrassed before. Now Harry knew I have feelings for him... and it was all because of a bloody Boggart!

He'll never see me the same way anymore. I'll never able to face him after this. Oh Merlin! Please wipe me away from this world. I don't wanna deal with this.

I stop running and slow down to a walk, realizing I'm in the garden. I let out a sigh and take a seat on the bench. I place my elbows on my knees and cover my face.

I start to cry softly. It's too overwhelming for me to deal with. Why did the Boggart have to turn into them? Why does it have to expose me like that??

I can hear footsteps coming towards me. I remove my hand from my face and look up. I panicked when I see the person I least want to see right now. I stand up and quickly try to leave. But the person grabs my hand, preventing me from going anywhere.

"Harry... let go..." I said, not looking at him. "No... I am not letting you go. You have a lot of explanation to do" he said. I let out a sigh and turn to look at him.

"What more do you want, Harry?? Do you think the Boggart would lie about that? Boggart takes form of whatever scares you..." I said, looking at him with my eyes filled with tears.

"I know that! What I didn't know... is why are you scared that I won't love you? Do you... love me?" He said, looking at me straight in the eyes. I just stay silent and look away from him.

"Answer me, Y/N! Why are you scared of that? Of the three of us going against you? Do you not trust us? Trust me? Is it not enough that we tried so hard to prove it to you that we're being genuine!" He said. "Answer me..." he said. I let out a groan. "I don't know! Okay! I don't know!!" I yelled out. He take a few steps back as he looks startled by my sudden outburst.

I choke a sob as I stare at him with tears in my eyes. "After the trick my brother pulled on me... I can't help but feel insecure. I'm scared... that one day you'll all grow tired of me... and you guys'd actually leave me..." I said, looking down. Harry just pulls me into a hug. I lean my head against his chest. I close my eyes as I feel his hand running through my hair.

"We would never, Y/N... we care for you. You're our best friend..." he said. "I know..." I said, in a hush tone. "Then what about the other question... do you... love me? Is that why you're scared? Are you scared that I might not feel the same way for you?" He said, pulling away as I look down.

"Y/N..." he said. I bit my lips as I nod my head. "I am in love with you, Harry..." I said. He stays silent after that. I just shut my eyes tightly. My fear is coming true, isn't it? Harry doesn't feel the same way.

I shake my head. "I'm sorry... forget what I just said. I'm gonna get going now..." I said, pulling away from his arms. I turn around, and was about to walk away. But before I could take a step away, I feel a hand on my wrist.

Harry turns me around. "Harry... le-" I try to say, but I got cut off by a pair of lips on mine. My eyes widen in shock. I don't know what to do. I froze on spot. In the end, I just relax and close my eyes. I slowly wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him back.

He pulls away for air and leans his forehead against mine. "I love you, Y/N... I always have. Ever since you stood up for us. You're always on our side when your brother picked on us. You're bright... you're kind. I fell in love with your personality. So never think that I don't feel the same way for you..." he said. "Harry..." I said, looking at him wide-eyed. He smiles and gently cups my cheeks.

"Yeah... you heard me right. I LOVE you, Y/N... so much... will you be my girlfriend?" he said. I smile softly and pulls him into a hug. He laughs and twirl us around.

"Yes, Harry! I'll be your girlfriend!" I said, squealing in delight as he continue to twirl us around. I clutch onto his shoulders.

"Okay, stop! I'm getting dizzy" I said. He laughs and place me back on my feet. He holds me close by my waist and smile at me. "Starting today... you're mine, Y/N..." he said. "Yes... I'm yours... and you're mine, Harry..." I said, smiling at him. He grins and nods head. He leans down and place a soft kiss on my lips. I wrap my arms around him, kissing him back.

Time-skip

Harry and spend the entire evening together by the garden. We didn't even realize the time.

I look up at the sky. "Harry... I think it's time for us to go to the dining hall for dinner..." I said. He looks at the sky as well. "Oh you're right... lets go now. I'm hungry..." he said. I let out a soft giggle at what he said.

"What?" He said, turning to look at me in confusion. "You're starting to sound like Ron..." I said. "Hey... don't compare me" he said. I giggle and place a quick peck on his cheek. "Come on... lets go now..." I said, standing up.

He stands up as well. He slip his hand on mine. I just smile shyly at his gesture. "You don't have to be shy, you know. It's just me..." he said. I smile softly at him. He smile back and place a soft kiss on the side of my head. I lean my head against his shoulder and we walk towards the dining hall.

I can hear murmuring from the students around me when we enter the dining hall. I lean closer to Harry. "Do you realize they're staring at us?" I said. "Yeah... but just ignore them..." he said. I just nod my head. I let his hand go and head towards the Slytherin table.

"You're acting closer than usual..." my brother said. I just roll my eyes. "What's wrong with that? I can't be close with my own boyfriend?" I said. His eyes widen at what I said.

"You're together now??" He said. "That's what I just said, isn't it?" I said. He just rolls his eyes and start to eat. I roll my eyes too. I just eat in silence. I turn my head to look forward at the Gryffindor table. I can see Harry along with Ron and Hermione.

Harry smiles at me and wink. I can see Hermione and Ron makes heart fingers towards us, wiggling their eyebrows. I blush at their gesture and just smile at Harry. He have a blush on his cheeks at the two's gestures. I still can't believe what happened...

Harry and I are together now..
