Chapter 5

I flop onto my bed after a shower. I stare up at the ceiling. I scoff as I recall what my brother just said. Who does he think he is?? I can be friends with anyone I want. I turn to my side and close my eyes, slowly drift off to sleep.

-Friends... or Foe?-

Y/N P.O.V

I'm just sitting in my seat. There's a cat sitting on top of the desk. But no professor. Hm... that cat is a little weird to be honest. I have a feeling it's not a normal cat.

Then suddenly Harry and Ron comes running into the room. "That was so close. Professor isn't here yet" Ron said. My eyes widened in shock when I saw the cat transform into a human. To be more specific, Professor McGonagall.

She's a shape shifter. That's so cool! I turn to where Ron and Harry is standing. I place my hand on my lips, trying to stop myself from laughing because their shock expression is so funny!

I feel someone nudge me. I turn my head to see my brother. "What's so funny? I thought you wanted them to be your friend..." he said. Though I can tell that he's a bit sarcastic. I roll my eyes at him and look away.

Professor McGonagall starts teaching us the art of transfigurations. She transform her pet into a cup. My eyes widened in amazement. That's awesome!

She walks towards where Ron is sitting. "Now you try Mr. Weasley..." she said. Ron tries it. But the cup have a tail on it. I giggle softly at this. Ron turns to me and looks away, looking embarrassed.

Ooops...

Time-Skip

As it is break time. I decide to walk around. But then I saw the trio walking on the stairs. But students are forbidden to be here at this hour. I must warn them before they get themselves in trouble. I run towards them.

"Hey!" I scream. They stop walking and turns around to look at me. "What do you want?" Hermione said.

"Do you realize where you're standing right now? Students can't be seen here! You're going to get yourself in trouble!" I said. "What about you? You're here too..." Ron said. I roll my eyes at his comment. "Thanks for stating the obvious. But I'm here to warn you... I don't want you guys to get in trouble. But I guess you don't need it... so bye" I said. "Wait!" I hear Harry said. I stopped and turn to him.

"Thanks... Y/N, right?" He said, making me smile and nod my head. "We better get going now..." I said. But then the stairs starts to turn.

Then we hear someone walking. "Move move move!" I whisper-yelled at them. We enter a room. I place my ear on the door.

"Ugh... what's that smell..." I said. I turn around and froze. "What's wrong?? You look like you-" I cut Ron off by covering his mouth. I point towards a certain direction. They turn around and froze as well.

There's a huge three headed dog. And when I said huge... I mean HUGE. He doesn't seem happy to see us.

He stands up and starts growling. "Run run run!" I yell. We get out of the room. I can feel the door move as the giant dog slams against it. "We should go..." I said. They just nod their heads.

We run as far away from the stairs room as possible. I stop and leans my back against the wall. "My bro is going to kill me if he knows what I did... not that I care anyway..." I said. The just stare at me.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" I asked, feeling confused because of how they're looking at me. I try to feel around my face, but I don't find anything.

They seem to have snapped out of their trances. "N-No... it's just... you seem different from your twin..." Hermione said. "She's right... you're more... friendlier... although you made fun of me earlier" Ron said, nodding his head. "Uh Huh... yeah... I got that a lot... we're called Mirror Twins for a reason... and I'm sorry for what happened in class earlier. I didn't mean to laugh at you..." I said, standing straight.

"I really hope we can get along well..." I said, smiling at them. They smile back at me. The clock starts to make a sound, making all of us jumps in our spot. I start to laugh. They laugh along with me.

"I think I should get going now..." I said. "Wait!" I hear Harry calls out. "Yes?" I asked. "Um... what happened earlier... will you tell anyone?" He asked. "No... don't worry... your secret is safe with me" I said.

"We actually enjoy having you around. Do you want to be our friend?" He asked. The other two smiles at me. I smile back "sure... let's be friends..." I said, winking at him. Then I turn around and walks away.

Harry P.O.V

She winks at me... SHE JUST WINKED AT ME!! 'Wait... why am I feeling excited?' I thought to myself.

"Ahem..." I hear someone faking a cough. I turn my head to see Hermione. "What?" I asked. "You're blushing Harry..." she said. "I am?" I said, surprised. "Mm hmm... if I don't know better. I'd say you're falling in love..." Ron joins in, smirking at me. This makes me roll my eyes.

I just met her... I couldn't possible starting to like her... could I?

Time-skip

It's now time for dinner. I make my way to the dining hall with Hermione and Ron. We take a seat at the Gryffindor table. I scan around the room and make eye contact with Y/N. She smiles at me then starts talking with her brother. She really is different from Malfoy.

A smile makes its way to my face. I feel a warm sensation spreading inside my chest. Maybe Ron and Hermione is right...

I am falling for her...
