Chapter 51

Previously on Chapter 50

"Goodnight, Y/N..." she said, and closes her eyes. Her breathing starts to get evened as she drifted off to sleep. I yawn softly, feeling sleepy. I close my eyes, letting myself drift off to sleep as well.

-Defense Group: Dumbledore's Army-

Y/N P.O.V

Ever since Harry received that detention, more and more students got it too. I can't believe Hogwarts would hire a professor like her. What's so special about her that she's accepted here? Like honestly, Professor Umbridge is very annoying. She acted so bossy... like she owns this place.

Me and the others are walking through the hallway. I stop walking when I notice Professor Umbridge and Professor Trelawney. They're surrounded by other students. By the looks of it, there seem to be a problem between them. I turn to Harry with a worried gaze. The four of us walks towards them to see what's going on.

"Please... you can't kick me out of here. Hogwarts is my home!" Professor Trelawney pleaded. I clench my hands into tight fists, after realizing what's going on. I feel an arm wrap around my shoulder. I turn my head to see it's Harry. He rubs my shoulder gently, as if trying to calm me down.

Luckily, Professor Dumbledore comes and sort out the problem. But the look that Professor Umbridge sends to Professor Dumbledore makes me feel uneasy. She looks displeased by his interruption. I can tell that she's have an evil scheme planned inside her head.

"We should get going..." Harry said, softly. I turn to look at him and nod my head. I glance at Professor Umbridge to see her looking at me. It took everything in me to not start glaring at her. So I turn around and walks away with Harry and the others, before I do something I might regret later on.

Later, we learned that Professor Dumbledore had fled Hogwarts. He's been banished by Minister Fudge. This makes Professor Umbridge the head of Hogwarts. She became more big-headed because of this.

She starts to put up a lot of ridiculous rules here. Like couples can't be too close, and such. Which means, I can't be close to, and it sucks! But luckily, I've already shifted houses. Now that I'm in Gryffindor, I can be close with my boyfriend a lot. Just not outside because of that stupid Professor.

I lean my head on Harry's shoulder as we sit in the living room of Gryffindor. Harry run his hand through my hair gently, as I snuggle closer to his side with my arm around his torso. I feel a soft kiss on the side of my head, making me smile softly at his loving gesture.

"It sucks that I won't be able to hold your hand outside of this house" Harry said, after being silence. I pull away to look at him. He turns to look at me and pout. I let out a soft giggle and peck his lips. He blinks his eyes and smile at me.

"Yeah, it sucks... we can't show our love" I said. He nod his head in agreement. I let out a sigh and scoff as I think about the reason. "All that because of that so called, good for nothing Professor" I said, rolling my eyes. Harry pulls me closer and rub my shoulder, trying to calm me down.

At Hogsmeade

We're currently gathered in the Three Broomstick. Along with a few other students. We're forming a plan. We need to do something. With the Dark Lord's returns. We need to know how to defend ourselves. With that, we're going to form a defense group called Dumbledore's Army. All we need to do right now is to try and convince others to join us.

It took a lot of convincing, because they still doubt us and think we're joking around about the evil wizard's return. I feel slightly annoyed when they start calling Harry a liar. Harry calms me down and try his best to prove himself to be telling the truth. In the end, everyone agrees to join our defense group.

"All we have to do now is try to find the perfect place to train..." Harry said. I nod my head in agreement. I start to think of any possible place that will be suitable for us to train. But nothing comes to mind. Everyone decided to spread around to look for the place. The one who finds it will inform either one among the four of us.

Time-skip

Neville managed to find the perfect room. Which is the requirement room. The entrance to that room will only appear to the ones who truly needs something. Which is perfect because no one knows about the group aside from the ones who agrees to join.

"Well done, Neville!" I said, as we enter the requirement room. Neville smiled shyly at me. I let out a giggle at his reaction and look around the place in admiration. I turn to Harry and wrap my arms around his torso. "This room is perfect... it could work" I said, grinning at him. He nods his head in agreement, wrapping his arms around me. He places a soft kiss on the side of my head.

"Yeah... this room is perfect indeed..." he said, smiling softly at me. I giggle and pulls away to look at him. He gently nudge his nose against mine, which makes me blush deep shade of red. "Blushing~" he teased, making me roll my eyes.

"So... what are we going to learn now Professor?" I said. He looks flustered by my comment. I giggle and poke his cheek. "Look who's blushing now, hmm?" I said, teasing him back. He rolls his eyes and pinches my nose.

Someone clears their throat, making us turn our heads to their direction. "Okay, lovebirds... can we start our lesson now?" Hermione said. Harry and I blush at what she just said. I turn to look at Harry, as he do the same. He clears his throat and turn to look at everyone.

Harry will be teaching us how to cast a Patronus Charm. Harry move to stand next to me, as he observe me. I stare at him nervously. He smiles reassuringly at me and nod his head. "Come on, Y/N... give it a try" he said. I take a deep breath and point my wand mid-air.

"Expecto Patronum..." I said. A light appear from the end of my wand, forming an animal. It's a F/A. I watch as it runs around the place. I let out a laugh as it floats next to my head, nudging its nose against my cheek. I let out a giggle at the ticklish sensation. My patronus eventually vanish after a while.

"Well done, Y/N! That was excellent!" Harry praised, wrapping his arm around me. I let out a laugh and wrap my arms around his neck happily. He picks me up and twirl us around.

Everyone starts to train their charm too. Harry even appointed me as second in command in this defense group. He also ask me to help the others who struggles with their charm incantations. But soon enough, they all managed to get the hang of it.

I watch in amazement as Patronus charms in various form of animal starts flying around the room. It's breathtaking to watch. Everything single one of them is amazing. With a lot of training... this group will surely be powerful.
