Chapter 74

Previously on Chapter 73

He walks over to me and hovers above me. "Do you think you can defeat me with my own spell?" He said. I furrow my eyebrow at what he said. "Yes... I am the Half-Blood Prince" he said. He turns around and walks away. My head falls back as my vision starts to grow darker. I'm sorry, Y/N... I've failed to protect you.

-My Home, My Prison-

Y/N P.O.V

I slowly open my eyes, only for them to snap open when I remember what happened. I sit up and look around. My eyes widened in horror when I realize I'm back at the Malfoy Manor. More specifically, my old bedroom.

I turn my head towards the door as it slowly creaks open. I move to sit up, staring at the door as it reveals the same man who banished me from this family. He just stands there, giving me a tight smile.

"Y/N... my child, you have come home" he said. I look away from him as he walks closer to me. He take a seat on the edge of the bed, near my thigh. He lift his hand and gently place it on top of my thigh. "I'm so happy to see you home..." he said.

"Weren't you the one who wanted me gone?" I sneered, turning to look at him with a glare. I stare at him with so much hatred as my eyes starts to well up in tears. I just let them stream down my cheeks, to show how hurt I am for the way he treated me. "You tortured me... starved me! All of that for what?? You put me through so much pain, just because I follow what my heart longed for? For love... for Harry!" I said, each word with a higher tone than the rest to the point I was yelling at him.

"Y/N..." he said. He lift his hand to help me wipe the tears. But I swat his hand harshly before he could even touch my cheek. I wipe the tears from my cheeks. I shake my head.

"Don't call me by my name... you've lost the privilege when you kicked me out of your family. You're nothing, but an evil, CRUEL man. You are not my father" I said, turning my head to look at him as I send him a cold glare. He stares at me in the eyes. I can see a glint of sadness in them. I turn my head away. "Just leave me alone. I don't want to see you" I said.

He's silent for a moment. I hear him heaving out a sigh. The bed moves as he stands up. I hear his light footsteps as he make his way out of my room. I glance at the door as it moves shut.

I blink my eyes as more tears starts to fall from my eyes. I lift my hand and wipe them away. I don't want to show weakness. Not in front of these people. I close my eyes as I lean my head back against the headboard behind me.

Harry... where are you? I thought to myself. My eyes snap open when I hear a howl. The window to my room burst open and a burst of white smoke flies in. It lands on the ground and starts to morph into something. My eyes lit up when I realize what it is... who it is.

"P/N!" I yelled out. She jumps on the bed and lay down next to me. I lean down, hugging her neck tenderly. "You came for me.. I thought that I'd never see you again..." I said, as tears starts falling from my eyes.

I will always be by your side, Y/N... after all, I'm your guardian she said. She lift her head and gently lick my cheek. I let out a giggle at the ticklish sensation. She snuggle closer to me. I bury my face into her soft fur. I'll keep you safe. You have nothing to worry about... you'll always have me here she added.

"Thank you, P/N..." I said, softly while caressing her fur. She let out a soft bark, making me giggle. "I didn't know you could bark..." I said.

Wolves and dogs are similar... so? She said, sassily. I just laugh at what she said. I cover my mouth as I yawn. Are you sleepy, Y/N? She said, turning her head to look at me with her blue eyes. I just nod my head. Sleep... she said.

I move my body to lay down on my side. P/N snuggles closer my side. I gently embrace her neck as I play with her fur. I'm sad that I got separated from Harry and the others. Hopefully, I'll be able to see them again. I close my eyes as I let myself drift off to sleep.

I slowly wake up to someone caressing my hair. I open my eyes and turn my head. "Draco..." I said, in a soft voice. He just nods his head after hearing me call out his name.

"Yeah, it's me..." he said. I move to sit up, throwing my arms around his neck. He wrap his arms around me. "I'm sorry... I tried so hard to push you away so you'd keep your distance from me. But look where it got us... you got caught up in this mess. I'm so sorry, Y/N..." he said. I can hear the sadness in his tone.

"No.. don't blame yourself" I said, pulling away from the hug to look at him. He stares at me in sadness, as tears fall from his eyes. "I care about you, Draco... just like any other siblings. We may have split up... but we're still bonded no matter what. You're my twin brother and I will always love you. I'll always be there for you, and I know you will always do the same for me..." I said.

"You're right, Y/N..." he said, smiling softly at me. He pulls me into a hug again. "I will be here for you. I won't push you away again..." he said, gently running his hand through my hair. I kind of feel happy to be here. Even though I'm trapped here. At least, I finally have my twin brother back. That's all I care about at the moment.
