Chapter 1

Previously on Prologue

"Uh... no..." Y/N said. "You'll he entering Hogwarts soon!" Their mother said, with a wide grin on their face. Y/N and Draco starts to grin happily. They hug each other feeling excited.

I can't wait to go there!!

-Hogwarts Letters-

Y/N P.O.V

It's our b'day today! But that's not what I'm excited about. I'm more excited to the fact that soon or later my brother and I will be going to Hogwarts! School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I'm sitting in my room, when someone knocks on my door. I stand up and walks towards the door. I open it to reveal my twin brother.

"Yes?" I said. "Mom wants to see us..." he said. I nod my head "okay..." I said. I walk out of my room and follows him as he walks.

We reach the dining room. "Come kids... have a seat" she said. We walk towards one of the seats and sits down next to each other.

Our mother have a serious expression. It kinda make me feel nervous. "What is it, Mother..." Draco said. I just stay silent as I look at her nervously. Suddenly she broke into a grin and holds out 2 letters. Draco and I looks at it wide-eyed.

"Is... is that what I think it is???" I said, excitement grows inside me. "Yes, sweetie... it's your Hogwarts letter..." she said, smiling softly at me. I jump to my feet and start cheering. Draco just laughs at my excitement.

I grab his hands and pulls him to stand up. Then I pull him into a hug. "We got in!! We got in!!!" I said. He laughs even more and hugs my waist. "Yes, sis... we got in..." he said.

We pulls away from each other. "We will go to Diagon Alley... to buy all the things you'll be needing for your journey in Hogwarts..." our dad said, as he enters the room. I turn to him and runs towards him.

I hug him tightly, making him chuckles and pat my head. "I got in, daddy!" I said. "Yes, sweetie... I'm so proud of you..." he said. Then he turns to Draco "and you too, son..." he said, smiling softly. Our father is quite a cold person. It's kind of rare to see him with a smile on his face.

Time-skip

Draco and I are walking around Diagon Alley. We pretty much have all the things we need for our study at Hogwarts. We just need to get one more thing. A pet.

"What are you planning to get?" Draco said. "Hm... I think I want an owl..." I said. He hums and nods his head. "Yeah... me too..." he said. I smile at him, then we make our way towards the pet shop.

When we enter the shop. My eyes widened. There's so many animals in here. Draco and I looks at each other. "Should we part ways?" He asks. I nod my head "yeah... seems like that's the best way..." I said. He nods his head. Then part ways inside to look for the pet we want.

I keep looking around the place, trying to look for the perfect owl. I don't know what kind of owl to get. There's so many kinds of them. But then... I saw something.

It's a white wolf... and it seems to be a female. It just stare at me as I watch it. I try to approach it, but it starts to growl at me.

Although I can see the fear in its eyes. She's afraid that I might hurt her. "Hey... easy... I am not going to hurt you..." I said. She tilts her head as she looks at me. I try to approach it one more time.

I outstretch my hand towards it. "I wanna be your friend... will you let me?" I said. She walks towards me cautiously. Then she starts to sniff my hand. I smile softly. Then she starts to lick my finger. I giggle at it feels ticklish.

I raise my hand and gently pat her head. Then she jumps at me. I caught her and start rubbing her head softly. I don't think I'm going to get an owl. I think I want this wolf cub instead. I carry her and bring her with me.

"Y/N... did you get the owl you want?" I heard my brother's voice behind me. I turn around and face him. "Uh... that's a weird looking owl..." he said. I roll my eyes "this is a wolf, Draco... not an owl..." I said.

"I thought you wanted an owl..." he said, raising an eyebrow at me. "Well... that was before I see her... I think I want her instead..." I said. He just hums and nods his head. "Alright... if you say so..." he said. I just smile at her. Then we walk towards the cashier to pay for our pet.

I turn to a cage. I was about to put the wolf inside it, but it's start wailing. "Come on... it's okay..." I said. I keep trying to put her in, but she continues to squirm.

No! Please don't put me in there! I jump and looks around. "What was that?" I say to myself. Then I look at the wolf, to see her looking back at me. "I could have sworn I heard someone talking to me..." I said.

You understand me? There it is again. I look around but see no one. Then I look back at the wolf. No way, it can't be... she can't be talking to me.

"Did you just talk?" I said. You understand me!!! She said. "O-oh Merlin..." I said, in shock. Don't be scared... she said. "I-I'm not scared... I-I'm shock..." I said, speechless.

"Y/N! What are you doing?! Come on we gotta go!" I heard someone yell out. "Coming!" I said. Then I look at the wolf again. "Just go inside the cage... I'll let you out once we reach home... okay?" I said. She just stare at me, I try to put her inside the cage one more time. This time she didn't fight back.

Time-Skip

After we reach home, I open the cage and she runs out in an instant. Then she runs around in circle and jumps on me. She starts licking my face.

Then she sits in front of me. I just giggle and pat her head. "How come I understand you?" I said. One human will be able to understand... I will be your guardian... she said. "Guardian?" I said. 'Yes...' she said.

"Um... do you have a name?" I said. I've been name a lot... she said. "Tell me one..." I said. You can call me P/N... she said. "Hm... alright..." I said, smiling softly to myself.

I start to yawn. If you're tired... go to sleep... she said. I just nod my head. I get up from the floor and flop onto my bed. She pulls the blanket up to my neck. Then she lays under my arms. I smile and rub her fur gently. I close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.
