Minako's POV

We finished our investigation to Phantom Lord and I returned back from being Phantom Masquerade. And now, we're about to take a ship going  to Galuna Island to bring our team back home.

"FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!" Doranbolt ordered to his Magic Knights from the Magic Council.

"YES SIR!!!" The knight who controls the ship responded.

"Doranbolt... Can I ask why is Ooba-sama is with us?" I asked and looked at Master Ooba who is spinning some of the knights.

"Well... If there are some mages looking for a guild, she will recruit them." He said.

"Ah... Okay..." I said.

"You know, you don't have to do this... We can take a boat..." Kai said.

"But it was a request from Lahar to guide you two... Besides, there are some people who's after the Princess. I was ordered to protect her." He said.

"O-kay..." Carla said. 

"SIR! WE ARE NOW HEADING TO GALUNA ISLAND!" The knight said and pointed at the island.

"That's the place where Ren and the others went." Kai said and we nodded. Ren, Happy, Rin, Lily, Ran, Touka, Ron, Alex, Luca, wait for us.

Normal POV

As Luca carried Taka and laid him down on the floor, the Quadruplets, the Exceeds and the other members of Taka's group came back.

"LUCA!!!" Ren called.

"Hi guys." He greeted. Then, Lily and Alex laid the two beaten mages near Taka.

"So, you knocked him down alone, Luca?" Ron asked.

"Yeah." He said.

"W-What happened to the beast called Deliora?" Rin asked.

"It's now destroyed. After 10 years being frozen, it froze from my ice." He replied.

"Your ice? I thought it was your Master Gray who froze it." Leo asked.

"Did Taka told you that?" He asked and Leo nodded.

"He didn't know about what happened?" Ran asked and Luca nodded.

"I'll tell you the whole story..." Luca said.

"That time happened 10 years ago... When Taka and I are students of Master Gray... We were like a cat and dog fighting for our pride. I knew before that Taka is ahead of me in the ice magic because he is the descendant of Lyon Vastia. After Lyon died, Gray took over to take care of him. And that's where we met." He told them.

"So that's how you guys met." Ren sighed.

"Shut it, Ren!" Ron shouted.

"And by the time that I will be tested by Master Gray, that's where Deliora arrived and attacked Isvan... My hometown..." Luca continued.

"And what happened?" Rin asked.

"We tried to escape to that monster. But, Taka is a hard-headed guy that wants to surpass his ancestor and most especially, Master Gray. That's why he wanted to try the forbidden magic for Ice Mages... The Iced Shell." He answered.

"Iced Shell?" They asked.

"Iced Shell is a form of iceberg to froze a monster for only 5 years." He explained.
