Fairy Tail's Princess - Chapter 23 - Princess's Tears!
Minako's POV
I am now in the last test in this first quest. And this time, I will fight against the Lightning Dragon Slayer, Laxus Dreyar.
"Hey Kid." He said.
"Hi..." I said.
"It seems that you surpassed Kai and Mira." He said and I nodded.
"They were stronger than I expected." I said.
"Well, let's see which one of us is the stronger one." He said as he dashed towards me. He punched me but I dodged it. And kicked his gut and threw him on his location.
"Hmmm... You have an impressive strength." He said.
"It's just part of my training." I said.
"Gate of Scorpion, Open! Scorpio!!!" I chanted and Scorpio appeared.
"SAND BUSTER!!!" He chanted towards me and I dashed on Laxus.
"Celestial Dragon's Kick!!!" I chanted and kicked him. He threw by the wall which the stone walls destroyed.
"Not bad..." He smirked.
"Lightning punch!" He chanted with lightning on his fist. Unfortunate for him, I stopped his punch by holding it.
"What!?!?!" He gasped.
"Delta Ray!!!" I chanted and balls of light hit Laxus, but still standing.
"LIGHTNING STRIKE!!!" He chanted and struck me very hard.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" I screamed in pain. I remembered the time I got struck by lightning. But then, the lightning struck on me decreased because I absorbed it with my body.
"N-NO!!!" He gasped as he sees me standing.
"That lightning reminds me of something..." I said. And I summoned a big sword and walked towards him.
"I can see all of your weak points..." I said as a circle of wind appeared on the ground.
"Lightning..." He was about prepare himself.
"This ends now! Pale Dragon Fang Slash!!!" I chanted and attacked him with my sword until he was defeated. The sword disappears as I saw Laxus injured.
"L-Laxus???" I called as I went near him.
"Heh... Well done, Kiddo..." He said. And seconds later, the rune wall opened.
"Laxus..." I called then he touched my injured face.
"Sorry about the lightning struck on you..." He said. I held his hand that touched my injured face.
"It's alright... There's nothing wrong with it... At least I tried my best." I said with a smile.
"Hmmm... Just make sure to be careful on your next quest." He said. I nodded and went to the next location.
Normal POV
Meanwhile...
"That kid does know her purpose..." Laxus said as he sat down. Then, Kai and Mirajane arrived.
"Laxus!" They called.
"Mira! Kai! Good thing you guys were okay... So... What's up?" He asked.
