Jed's POV

I am now in a chase with the Princess's teammates because they thought that I'm one of Jose's members of Phantom Lord. But, what they didn't know is I was assigned by Master Makarov to do an undercover investigation about the Phantom Lord's plan.

Flashback...

Before I joined Phantom Lord, I was in a place full of metal scraps. Since I'm an Iron Dragon Slayer, I eat metals. During my chow time, an old man appeared.

"Seems you have an alone time." The master of Fairy Tail said.

"What do you want from me, Old Man?" I asked.

"Before you decide to join the guild, there something you need to know." He said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"The lost princess that Master Jose is looking for, is now in Magnolia Town." He said.

"Lost Princess, huh... Who is it?" I asked.

"The daughter of a Celestial Mage and a Dragon Slayer." He said. I was in shock that there are still Dragon Slayers in our generation.

"W-Where is she?!?!?! I WANTED TO ASK HER ABOUT THE DRAGONS 400 YEARS AGO!" I asked.

"That's what you're going to do in Phantom Lord." He said.

"Huh?" I thought.

"The Phantom Lord has a lot of books about Dragons 400 years ago. You should persuade them that you're joining their guild. Just keep this undercover investigation as a secret." He said. Then, I told him that I'll join the guild. And he puts the guild mark on below of my right shoulder. And chanted a invisibility magic on the mark when the time has come to remove the magic.

As I joined the Phantom Lord like what the Master told me, I gathered a lot of information regarding the Dragons and bring them to their guild without being noticed. 

"You've found a lot..." He said.

"Those were the books that are related to our origin as dragon slayers." I said.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you..." He suddenly spoke.

"What is it?" I asked.

"The lost princess, Minako Arisato, and the Descendants are on their way to the guild. I bet Jose will easily kidnap her." He said.

"They shouldn't go there. I must find them!!!" I said and left the guild.

End of Flashback...

"Jed! Where are you taking me?" Minako asked.

"To Our guild..." I answered.

"OUR Guild?" She questioned and then we arrived at Fairy Tail for about 30 minutes ahead of her team. As we entered inside Master Makarov's office, he is now sitting at his study table.

"It seems that Jose is now held captive. They did a pretty good work." He said while looking at the newspaper.

"I'm here, Master." Minako said.

"Oh~ You're here! Welcome Back, Princess, Jed~~~" Master greeted.

"I'm back, Master." I responded.

"Master??? You mean, you two know each other?" She asked.

"Well, not just know each other. I gave him an undercover mission to investigate Phantom Lord." He explained and removed the invisibility magic on my right shoulder.
