Chapter 1 - Getting Ready

“Hello and welcome to Gossip Corner with me, Jade! Today is the Sixty Second Update, we focus on One Direction! With Zayn and Perrie happy together, they purchased a puppy! The adorable little thing is a cute addition to their beautiful relationship, but do you think that puppy is the beginning of other small feet pattering around them? One source says ‘Perrie has spoken about children, but as Zayn is barely even 20 it seems silly to burden him with a child at the moment, so the next best thing was a puppy!’. The One D boys are all loved up at the moment, Liam and Danielle still going strong despite a few down patches and break ups. Danielle revealed exclusively to us that they were planning on getting matching tattoos to prove their love to the haters who say he’s better off without her, meanwhile Louis and Eleanor and also still going strong, with rumours of an engagement flying around we’re wondering if 21 year old Louis will be the first of the boys to settle down, marrying the enviously beautiful brunette. However in sadder news, Harry has been left heartbroken with his split from Taylor. Their couple-of-month relationship had been headline worthy news throughout, and people are wondering if it was that which caused the end. A source said ‘twitter followers were sending hate to them both, Harry lost followers and Taylor couldn’t go anywhere without someone shouting abuse about her ‘track record’ with celebrities. Baring in mind the two are young, I can see how this huge media influence could cause issues; every picture of them together would be viral within seconds and nothing was kept private. Still-single Niall, though, has admitted he wouldn’t care who he dated as long as they loved him for him and not for his money and fame, even admitting he’d date a fan! So lucky girls watching this, who knows; I could be talking about you and Niall soon! That is all for now! Ciao!” I grab the remote and switch the channel over to a sport channel.

“You seriously still watching that crap?” Conor laughs as he walks into the room, a towel wrapped round his waist being the only thing covering him up.

“Conor, do you have to walk round in just a towel?” I giggle, although I couldn’t help but stare at the sight.

“After all these months, you still have to stare?” He smiles, but I blush like a child that’s been caught out.

“Well, it’s not like you walk around like that all the time!” I smile, though pulling a face that says ‘you know I’m right’

“Mmh, I guess!” Conor says, walking back out of the room. I roll my eyes. Waiting a few seconds, I grab my phone and begin to text the 1D boys when Liam’s name flashes up on my phone, calling me.

“Liam?” I answer in the most idiotic way.

“Ella?” He replies, joking,

“You alright?” I ask, concerned as to why he’d ring me.

“Yeah, just ringing up to see how you were and all!” He said, but it didn’t sound genuine.

“I’m good thanks, everything is working out well after the hoo-hah with Mike. You sure you’re alright?” There was a pause.

“Did you see that bloody woman on Gossip Corner? What the hell is she talking about?” I rolled my eyes. I knew they all hated to admit they watched it as regularly as I did, but somehow I couldn’t help it!

“Ah, I thought as much. Don’t worry, Liam, I wont tell the others! I watched it too!”

“Matching tattoos? Me and Danielle getting matching tattoos? But Zayn and the baby talk was the best! Do they not learn? You rang them up and knocked them down live on air!”

“Yeah, and that’s the reason they don’t talk about me and Conor as much! You need to knock them down too, Liam, or they’re gonna keep going until they split people up and then talk about that! You’re never gonna be left alone!” There was a silence, and a sigh echoed through my ear. “Yeah thanks!”
