Tommy groans in frustration as he had his head down at the table in the Red Inn. The tournament wouldn't start for another few hours as it's more of a late afternoon or evening event. In all the places to be during the festival of Sabu the sun, he was in the pub with his group. Though they're not doing much as Aizawa just reading, Techno and Wilbur were playing a card game.
"Guys we been here for an hour, let's go do something." The boy then suggests.
"If you want to waste energy then go ahead," Techno spoke as he places a card down on the table. "Uno."
"Techno...this is go fish...and you still have ten cards in your hand," Wilbur inform him.
The boy watched as he half-elf gets confused for a moment before slowly nodding. He gets a feeling that Techno doesn't understand cards at all.
Aizawa loudly closes his book looking over at Tommy. "Alright come on kid." He gets up.
"Where are you two going?" Techno ask.
"My student wants us to explore as a group, and since neither of you wants to get your ass up. I might as well take him out to enjoy the festival." Aizawa explains grabbing his cloak from off of the chair. "Come on Tommy." He added waiting on him.
Tommy glances at the two at the table and his teacher before quickly grabbing his coat and joining Aizawa. Once outside of the pub he proceeds to ask.
"You never wanted to go to any of the festivals. Why now?"
"Because I was always busy with the shop. Since it's close for today, I might as well see what's the big fuss is about."
Tommy smiles up at Aizawa. "It's is fun. There's a bean toss, archery, even an arm wrestling type thing. Oh, and at night they do-" His teacher cut him off.
"The launching of the lanterns. Yeah, I know. You sleep on the shop roof because you pass out." He chuckles as the brat felt his cheek warming up again.
"I just really like them..." Tommy muttered as they reach one of the festival games.
His teacher tilts his head. "Bean bag tossing?"
"Oh, I know this. You toss it into the basket while your six, maybe ten feet away with your back turned." Tommy explains.
"Ah, so you want to try it?"
"Well, they give three balls for one gold piece. Maybe you could also get a try." He shrugs as he goes to the man and hands him a gold piece.
In return, he got three balls and made his way over to the line handing the other two balls over to Aizawa.
"Watch and learn." Tommy snarky comments as he tosses the bean bag over his shoulder.
The boy smirks and turns around to see if the bean bag landed in the basket only to get immediately hit on top of his head by his bean bag. The crowd roar in laughter as he could feel his cheeks burning him and that feeling to run and hide from it all soon came back.
Aizawa soon pats Tommy's shoulder. "Hey, you did your best here kid." He reassures him as he proceeds to ruffle his hair a bit.
Tommy just nods. "How about you try Teach." He moves out of the way so his teacher could try to do it now.
"So, like this?" His teacher spoke as he tosses one for the bean bag over his shoulder.
The boy watches as the bean bag miss by a couple of feet from his teacher.
"Better than what I did."
"Still not in the basket though."
Tommy nods as he looks around at the crowd still seeing a few people snickering at him. He soon sees Techno and Wilbur in the crowd. Wilbur, of course, smacking Techno on the head as Techno laugh, which he assumed was at the boy hitting himself on the head with his bean bag.
