After two to three days of Tommy been on bed rest, the group has been including Tommy into things. Morning runs around the town, though his teacher doesn't ever join. Techno claim it's his old man's knees every time. Which causes the group to laugh and joke while on their runs. Even have small races, that Tommy could never win at as Wilbur and Techno argue who was first. Which ends up being a friendly brawl between the two.

Drista would come over to them and ask Tommy to play with her. Which he always does as she told him there's not a lot of kids her age. Eventually, the other two will join in and they would play till afternoon as they'll have to check in with Aizawa. Normally either reading or chatting with the bartender. They get lunch, and separate to do their own thing till evening hits, where they have dinner and chat till one of them heads to bed. It became a short routine they did that lasted for a few days.

Till one day while on their runs, there was a sudden noise that shook them up to their core. They stop in their track and look around for a moment wondering where it could have come from.

"The hell was that?" Wilbur ask. "Did that came from town or?"

"Kinda, sound like a horn. Though I could be wrong. What do you think Big T?" The boy looks over at Techno.

His eyes widened as if terrified, staring off in a direction, before slowly looking at the two humans in front of him.

"We need to go, now." He ordered roughly grabbing Tommy's arm and pull him into town.

The blonde struggles a moment before Wilbur stops the half-elf.

"The fuck you mean we have to go? We still have things to do here Techno."

"We don't have time for this. We need to go now!" Techno snap at him.

Tommy smacks him across the face, the half-elf looks at him in surprise as the boy stares at the ground. He lowered his voice when speaking to him.

"Do not dance around shit like this. I thought we were done with that."

The pink-haired man rubs his cheeks silently before slowly nodding.

"That sound was from a war horn. A giant one it seems. My..." he pauses for a moment before speaking again. "You could say my people use to do it. Normally there are two options people can do, give up someone or die trying to fight them."

He glance over at the streets, as bells started to be rung.

"Or I guess in this case, because of Sako, they can disappear. Though I doubt he'll be willing to make us disappear, especially considering..." He stops himself.

Tommy knows what he was on about, his teacher being a goblin that no one likes. Except for them and Drista, though she mostly thought that he's pretending to be one.

Then a thought went by him. If the town was getting harass by this cult, and they needed to give them someone. Then his teacher would be the perfect one to give.

"We need to head back to the Crow Inn. Techno how long till they get here?"

"Maybe ten minutes for an army, they probably have a few in town that is invisible with our luck."

"Just running to the Inn will take twenty-five, maybe more if there's a crowd," Wilbur spoke up.

"What weapons would they have?" Tommy ask.

"Mostly crossbows, mace, and rarely javelins. Why?"

Tommy took a moment to think about their current situation before coming up with a plan.

"I can get to the Inn in five. I have a spell that can double my running speed, plus if I use the rooftops I can get there. Even if one of them tries to attack they won't be able to hit a target that fast. Techno, I need you to get Sako. Try to convince him to lend you some weapons and that we can probably beat them. Wilbur, make sure the women and children get out safely." Tommy sighs. "Even if they can hide, the probability of one of the members seeing it and just taking the orbs isn't good."
