Me and Anna have been together a year today. We both planned to go our separate ways all day and then at 7 pm we'll meet up at the house, which will be empty, and have our time together. The house will be empty because, well we asked if there's somewhere the girls can go so we can celebrate together. Me and Anna just left the house and went to our own places. I'm at the mall getting a few things. The first thing I got her was pretty basic, a teddy bear, except it's special. After build-a-bear I went to a jewelry store, I got a promise ring. I think a year of being together is a good time to give her a promise ring. Then I went to Claire's and got us matching bracelets since there wasn't any nice ones at the jewelry store. I left the mall and went to target. I got her some Red Bull, her favorite snacks, and then I left and went to Walmart so I could find a random movie out of those big movie things they have. I stuffed my hand in the middle of the probably hundreds of movies and grabbed one. The hunger games... alright.

The first place I went to was target. I got me and y/n matching pajamas for the night. I got her black and red checkered pants with a random plain black t-shirt and I got myself the same thing just with a long sleeve instead of a t-shirt. After target I went to the mall and got y/n a promise ring, it was just a silver band with some diamonds going down the middle, I got my name engraved on the inside too. I went to GameStop also and got her Call of Duty Cold War, since she's been talking about it, and a new headset cause hers is crappy. Once I was done shopping I went home, just to see her already there. I got out and brought all of my bags on the house. There was no bags or anything on the counters but I heard rumbling upstairs. I giggled and started setting my gifts up. The only thing I didn't put on the counter was the promise ring. When I was done I went upstairs.

"Y/n?" I asked.

"Wait don't come in!" She yelled through the bedroom door. I leaned up against the wall and waited a few minutes. "Okay go ahead!" She yelled. I walked in the room. There was rose petals on the floor and on the bed, along with a teddy bear, two charm bracelets, a movie, Red Bull, and chips and candy. I looked at her and back at the gifts and laughed.

"How'd I do?" She asked.

"Better then me" I said laughing. She giggled and walked up to me.

"Happ- actually, no. Grab the bear and squeeze it's hand" she said and backed away from me. I raised my eyes brow and picked up the bear, I squeezed its hand and listened. The bear said in y/n's voice, 'I love you baby, happy one year', it was the cutest thing in the world. I smiled at her and she giggled.

"I love you too" I said. "Ok now let's go see my lame gifts" she stopped me.

"Here, they're matching" she said handing me a bracelet. There was small writing of my initials and y/n's initials carved into the bracelet. She put it on me and had me put on hers. We went downstairs and she saw the gifts I got her.

Anna got me some cute stuff. My favorite thing was definitely Call of Duty Cold War though. I immediately said thank you and looked at all the stuff she got me.

"The tension between me and skipping our one year celebration and playing Cold War right now is so high" I said. She laughed.

"Not happening, you have all day tomorrow to do that" she said.

"Yea I know I was kidding" I said. She rolled her eyes in a playful way and wrapped her arms around my neck. I leaned up against the counter and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I have something for you" I said. I reached into my pocket and pulled out the small black box. Anna smiled and did the same. I looked at her in shock. "I don't know about yours but this is a promise ring. I promise to love you forever Anna Elizabeth Shumate" I said. She giggled.

"Yea it's a promise ring. I promise to love you forever and always y/n y/m/n y/l/n" she said. I kissed her gently and then pulled away resting our foreheads together. Our lips were close but not touching, and I could feel her warm minty breath on my lips. She took a deep breath and smiled.

"Do I still give you butterflies" I asked.

"Yea you do" she said giggling. I smiled and leaned in. Our lips were slightly touching. I smiled and connected our lips. We made out passionately in the kitchen for a while until we started moving towards the couch. I moved my hands from her waist to the back of her thighs and picked her up. She wrapped her legs around my waist and cupped my face. I smiled into the kiss and laid her down as I hovered above her. I leaned down and attached my lips to her soft skin. "Happy anniversary baby" I mumbled into her neck, soon falling asleep.
