Homecoming

The day before homecoming-

Anna-
Y/n still hasn't asked me to homecoming. I mean I could ask her but she just completely ignores every hint I give her about it. I ask if Taylor is going, I ask if anyone has asked her, I asked if she's going to ask anyone, she just can't take a hint can she. We're at lunch right now with Katie Brad and Taylor. Karina hasn't been here for a few days.

"I'll be right back, I have to pee" y/n said giggling. I nodded and she pecked my lips. She ran out of the cafeteria. I messed with my food, becoming more and more hopeless that shes even gonna ask me.

"So has she asked yet?" Katie asked. I shook my head. "Asshole" I glared at her.

"Maybe she just doesn't want to go at all" I shrugged. Brad looked up and behind me. I looked at him confused, as he kept glancing from my eyes to whatever was behind me. I slowly turned around and say y/n with a big sign, roses and a teddy bear. The sign read 'Anna shumate will you go to the stupid homecoming with me?' I giggled as I read the sign and went up to her.

"Of course I will" I pulled her into a kiss. "Took you long enough" she nodded and kissed me again.

"We have to get our outfits today, wanna skip the rest of classes? We can make up the credits" she asked. I nodded and went back to the table.

"We're skipping" I explained to everyone. I grabbed my bag and left with y/n. "We should go to our spot after the mall" I suggested playing with her rings.

"Yea we haven't been there in a while, maybe this time we stay in the car... enjoy the view" she said sarcastically and moved her hand slightly farther up my thigh. I giggled and moved it so she wouldn't turn me on more than I already was.

"Ok" I said. I turned up the radio and played 'Beige' by Yoke Lore. Y/n giggled and sang the song.

Y/n-
We pulled into the parking lot of the mall and got out. We went inside and found a dress place.

"Colors?" I asked holding Anna from behind.

"Well you can just wear a simple black suit, and I can wear maybe pink or lavender or something" I nodded and swayed us back and forth as she looked through dresses. I'm pretty tall compared to Anna, she's only 5'5 and I'm close to being 6'0 so I have to lean down pretty far when holding her from behind if I want to rest my head on her shoulder.

"Do you two need some help over here?" A lady asked coming up to us.

"Yea do you have any dresses good for homecoming?" Anna asked. The lady nodded and we followed her. I was looking for about 5 seconds and I saw a lavender dress, poofy-ish at the bottom and tighter at the top. She'd look so good in that. I pointed it out and looked at the size.

"That should fit right love?" I asked. She looked at the size and nodded.

"It's expensive though y/n" she said.

"It's ok I know you like things like this" she smiled and I kissed her forehead.

"So we've decided on this one?" The lady asked. Me and Anna nodded at the same time. "And the suit? Or another dress?" She added.

"A plain black suit" I said.

"Ok I'll have it done in a few minutes" we nodded and walked around for a while. Once she was done preparing my suit and Anna's dress I paid and we left.

"Food?" I asked Anna.

"Always" she said. I giggled and we went to the food court. We got hotdogs and then left and went to our spot. We stayed in the car the whole time, ate and made out for a while. There was people around so we couldn't really do what I intended before, but I mean I'd drop everything just to feel her lips on mine whenever possible.

Homecoming-

Anna-
Me, y/n, Taylor, Karina, Brad, and Katie walked into the gym. There was streamers in the colors of our school, there was punch bowls, cotton candy stand, and girls in bright dresses and guys in bright suits. Y/n was wearing a white button up shirt and tight black dress pants, I can see her print through them at certain angles and it's hard not to stare. Brad is wearing something similar but baggier pants, a jacket and a tie. Katie is wearing a long black silky dress and she looks really good, Karina is wearing a pink dress that has a slit down the side exposing her leg. And Taylor is wearing a matching suit with y/n. I'm wearing my lavender dress with black heals and a necklace y/n gave me before we left the house.

"Let's go dance!" Katie said grabbing my hands dragging me to the dance floor. We danced all together as a group for a while. Me and y/n were getting punch and I saw Brad and Karina dancing together, Brad's hands were on her waist and she had one hand wrapped around his neck from the back, and the other holding his hand on her waist. I looked at y/n and started laughing.

"We're both thinking the same thing right?" She asked still giggling.

"Yea I think so. Wanna get cotton candy?" I asked after seeing no one was over there. She nodded and set down her cup. We got cotton candy and sat down.

"If I haven't told you already you look amazing, and I love you" y/n said as she kissed my forehead.

"Thank you and I love you more" I said smiling.

"Not a chance" she smiled and wrapped her arm around my shoulder. For most of the songs me and y/n sat around eating snacks and talking to people. We got a lot of compliments saying we're a cute couple or that we look good together. We danced to the cha cha slide with Katie Karina and Brad, Taylor ended up sneaking off with some girl. After the cha cha slide a slow song started to play.

"Wanna dance?" Y/n asked putting her hand out.

"Ew you have cooties" I said giving her a weird look. She giggled and grabbed my hand spinning me in a circle then pulling my body close to hers. "Oh so she has moves" y/n nodded and wrapped her arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around her neck and we swayed back and forth.

"You're so beautiful" y/n said looking in my eyes. She can be so delicate sometimes, I love it. I could see her eyes slightly moving as she looked at my whole face, I guess she was taking it all in or something. She was tracing little shapes on my back with her thumb as we swayed back and forth. I never thought I could be this in love with someone. Y/n is everything I could ever want, and more. She's too perfect for this world and I definitely don't deserve her. But I guess god or whoever the hell thought she would play a good role in my life. I smiled and pulled her into a deep kiss. She took a deep breath before kissing me back, I could tell I was bringing her out of a deep thought by doing this. We held the kiss for a while and then I pulled away and rested my head on her shoulder. I stayed like this for a while and looked up when I heard her let out a shakey breath.

"What's wrong" I asked giggling, and wiped a loose tear from her face.

"I don't deserve you Anna. You're too perfect for this world and I shouldn't be the one to be aloud to call you mine" she said sniffling.

"Hey look at me. Nothing will change the way I feel about you. You are all I could ever ask for. And maybe we don't deserve each other but I love you and I don't want to let what we have go, ok? So let's enjoy the rest of the night with no more tears" I giggled and she nodded. We hugged and started dancing and laughing with our friends again. This is probably one of the best nights I've had with y/n so far.
