"Okay so It's okay with you guys?" I asked the girls.

"Yes of course y/n. We'll take Alexis and you and Anna can have the house alone. We love you guys and I CANNOT BELIEVE ITS TAKEN YOU THIS LONG TO PROPOSE!" Sab yells.

"Okay okay I know now shut up before she wakes up and hears you." I brought Eva Sab and Katie over to ask if they'll watch Alexis, me and Anna moved into the new house not too long ago so we have a good amount of privacy but of course we have a growing child who can now crawl around so, still, not as much privacy as we'd like. For what I'm planning, for my proposal, we need privacy. Mostly so it doesn't get interrupted. Im planning on recreating our first date, but im struggling. I never technically asked her out on an official date. I could recreate our little pizza thing, the day I showed her my spot, but we're no longer in Michigan, therefore there's no "spot" for us to visit.

I know! I can get us some pizza from an actual restaurant not something like domino's, I still want this to be nice, I'll get her the wings she ordered that day, my salad, our small pepperoni pizza, and I'll unlock the forgotten about memory of us playing basketball by diving deep into my camera roll and showing her the video. I still find myself rewatching it sometimes. I don't even think she remembers. But anyways, I'll show her the video, and admit all the feelings that were running through my high school brain, then I'll get down on one knee and reveal the beautiful diamond ring.

"Hey guys" I hear Anna say from behind me, along with the babbles of Alexis.

"Hey baby" I say.

"Hey" the girls say in unison. I put my arms out for Alexis and hand her to Sab.

"Love where's the diaper bag? The girls are taking Alexis for the day, I have a little thing planned for us" I say, trying to be subtle.

"It's in her room" she says. I nod and Eva gets up heading to Alexis' room. I stand up and go to Anna. I place my hand gently on her waist and kiss her forehead.

"Sleep good my love?" I ask. She nods and smiles. She is in for a great surprise.

"Barf. Well we're leaving now have a good time!" Katie says. We giggle and the girls leave, a silence take over the house. It's comfortable and calming. Peaceful. Anna moves past me, trailing her hand along my body as she does. She goes to the cabinet, grabbing pancake mix. I smile and lean on the counter watching as she begins to cook. Her new thing is walking around in nothing but my t-shirt and her underwear. I can she her hips each time she reaches above her grabbing the things she needs, the shirt will slowly glide back down her soft, tan skin. She seduces me without even trying. This woman is perfection in every way possible.

I enjoy sitting back and watching. It's nice. I don't mean it in a creepy way, I mean it in more of an admiration type of watch. I like to admire the beautiful woman I get to call mine, I like to see her effortless beauty peak out behind her insecurities. I like to see the little details, the things an average person would miss. The things that make Anna, Anna. The way she makes sure her hair is always looking the same, if not she puts it in a bun. The way she always checks herself in the mirror before going into a public setting. The way she always has her keys in her right hand when she's leaving the house. How when she gets attached to something she sticks with it, and she gets sad when her interest starts to fade. The way she always has a specific pattern to which she does everything, when she's getting dressed it's; underwear, bra, pants, shirt, socks, shoes, accessories. How when she's watching a show it either has her divided attention or completely undivided attention. The way-

"Hellooo? Y/n? Ive been standing here with this plate for a whole two minutes" Anna says breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, I'm sorry my love" I say grabbing the plate.

"So.. what has your mind so occupied today?" She asks subtly. I softly giggle.

"You. I was just thinking about the little things I love about you." I say taking a bit of the perfectly fluffed pancakes she's made us. She gives me a suspicious look but goes with it.

Okay everything's set up. Its perfect. I had Anna occupied by getting ready, the pizza arrived perfectly in time. I set up the table, and had the video pulled up on my phone. I had the ring hidden in the inside of my jacket so she wouldn't see. Its perfect.

"Okay baby! You done!" I ask.

"Yea!" She says. I lean against the table facing the stairs. I slowly watch as my soon to be fiancé walks majestically down the stairs. She was wearing a white lace knee high dress, white heals, and her hair was curled.

"Woah.." I say, unintentionally out loud. She smiles. "You look.. wow. You look amazing." I say. She comes all the way down the stairs and greets me with a kiss. Because of her heals her height was almost level with mine so I didn't have to lean down as much. We pulled away and I tucked a lose strand of hair behind her ear. "You're perfect." I say, still in awe. She smiles at me once more and I pull out her chair. I sit in front of her.

"Still staying fit I see." She says, referring to my salad. I take a bite and nod. I go for a pepperoni on her slice and she taps my hand. "No." She says. I look at her and grab one off the second piece she had. She rolls her eyes and I laugh.

"Hey check this out." I say. I grab my phone and pull up the video. I show her and watch as she admires the video. "I knew I loved you then freshman. That was only the second day I'd known you and I was already in love. I was dreaming of the life we have now and now it's all come together. I knew I wanted you then and I still want you now. I wouldn't be as far in life as I am today without you my love. You keep me here while keeping my head in the clouds. There is never a dull moment experienced when you're around. You're everything I've ever wanted and everything I will ever need. You are who I've been dreaming of since I thought I knew what love was. I emphasize the thought in that sentence, because now with you, here, I know what love is. And with that being said-" I slowly lower from my chair as Anna watches, her mouth open as she realizes what's happening. I reach into my jacket and pull out the little black box.

"Anna Elizabeth Shumate, the love of my life, will you marry me?" I say, my words were shakey, this was a big moment for me, something I never thought I'd be doing. She nods, tears streaming down her face, smearing her perfectly done makeup.

"Yes. Yes. A million times yes." She says wiping her tears. I struggle to stand up, stabilizing my shakey legs. I pull her into my embrace and kiss her cheek over and over. I squeal in excitement and spin her around. "I love you" she says. As I'm about to say something she cuts me off. "In the most genuine way possible I love you, every inch of you y/n. Your physical body, your soul, all of it. I love you. I feel as if our souls have intertwined and nothing can break the tie. You are my person y/n and nothing can take that away from us. I love you." She says. I nod and pull her into the most passion filled kiss we've shared in a long time. I squeeze her tightly and whisper an 'I love you' back to her.
