I had a pop quiz in math today. He only gave us 6 minutes to do it though. There were 10 questions. I hardly think that's fair. Out of all of them, I only got to answer 5, and out of those 5 I got all of them right. I shouldn't be disappointed, that's actually a really good score. The only problem is I got a 50%. *sigh* I hope he ends up dropping the grade. No one else did well on the test either.
Laura invited me to the local fair. She also invited Dani. It's going to be on Sunday, and I already can't wait! It's been so long since I've done something with a group.
My mom brought home a flyer she saw at the store. It's a help wanted poster for a local cafe. The cafe is called "Mad Hatters." I used to go there loads when I was in middle school. My aunt used to take me. They serve really good tea there. I always order green tea or blueberry tea. Always with honey and a dash of milk. My aunt always used to laugh and say I was born in the wrong country. I always secretly agree.
My aunt moved away when I became a freshman though. She said she needed to because she found a better job in Baltimore. I miss her so much. She was like an older sister to me.
I think I'm going to go for the job. I need to start saving for collage. Even though I get money for holidays and my birthday, a grand total of 1,000 dollars plus intrust is getting me nowhere. Especially when that's converted to pounds.
Maybe in a few years if I get into Oxford I'll see you in downtown London. I know it's a big town. But there's always that possibility.
