Hi Phil,
I just got back from the fair. It was great! They had this ride there called Rockets, and you would go in a little rocket ship looking seat, and then the ride would start and it would take you in a circle. Once it was going high and fast enough it would start swinging down and up, and it was really exciting!
After we rode that three times though, I started feeling a little sick and tired. Which is strange because is normally love roller coasters.
While Dani got fries, and Laura got funnel cake, I stuck to water. They gave me strange looks at that. I probably would have gotten Cotten candy if the whole world wasn't spinning.
I told Laura and Dani that I though Val didn't like me. Dani laughed and said Val did that to everyone, and she actually though I was "chill".
I shrugged, it might be true but I doubted it.
The whole time at the fair Dani was bugging Laura about her crush. And finally at the end, right before we left, Laura finally cracked. She said it was Sam.
He was a funny, reserved guy. I could see how people found him attractive, but I didn't really feel it.
Dani was cackling and shouting "I knew it!" Before Laura shushed her, we got a few side glances.
That's when my mom got there. Even though I wasn't feeling well, I can honestly say I had a good time.
As for the job, I got it! They called me as I was getting ready for the fair! They said that I start next week, and they would email me my shifts.
