Only one true love

Prologue

"You don't need to go, honey," my mum was trying to change my mind about going to Earth over the last few days.

"But I want to", I told her. She opened her mouth to say something, but I stopped her: "Don't ask me why I told you a million times already." The truth was, I didn't really know why myself, but I still wanted to go.

"You ready?" Heimdall asked me.

"Ready as I can be", I said, "Bye mum, I love you". I hugged her.

"Bye honey", she hugged me and started crying.

"Oh, c'mon mum, stop crying, it's not like I'm going away forever" I was joking, "and you can always come to visit".

That was the last thing I said before turning around and going into Bifrost.
