3 years later

I woke up with a headache. I tried to remember what happened last night, but my headache just got worse. I just know I partied. A lot. I closed my eyes until the headache calmed down a bit. I got up and went to get medicine for my headache to stop. Just as I was pouring the water into my cup, I heard a knock on the door. I groaned. I put the tablet in my mouth, drank water, swallowed it and went to open the door. It was Loki. I was surprised because I wasn't alone with him since we broke up. I mean, he tried to 'win me back', but I just said no, turned around and went the other way. That was a year and a half ago, and since then, nothing.

"Hi, Loki. What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Hey, Rose. What, I can't come to see my friend when I want?" he said, cheerfully for some reason. But I didn't think about that, but about a word he said that struck me: "Friends?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah," he said casually and went to the kitchen, where he sat on the chair even though I didn't invite him in. I just followed him, not wanting to fight so my headache wouldn't worsen.

"How you been, Rose?" he asked me.

"Fine," I said, "I'm confused, why are you here, again?"

"I just came to see you," he said, still happy and cheerful.

"Why are you here?" I asked him again.

"I just told you, I'm here to see you," he said, still sounding cheerful.

"Loki, I know you are not. Now, either get out or tell me why you're here," I said, bossy.

"Fine," he said and got up. I thought he was going to leave, but he just came to me.

"I want you back," he said, "Every day without you is agony. I've waited long enough, but I can't anymore. If I don't get you back, I think I might explode."

"I-" I was shocked. Loki gently grabbed my face with his soft hands and looked me in the eyes.

"I still love you, Rose Jenkins, with all my heart. Actually, you know what? Let's get married." That was too much. I jumped away from his hands.

"Oh no, no, no, no, no. We are NOT getting back together, and we are most certainly NOT getting married."

"Sorry, I shouldn't have proposed to get married, that was too much," he apologized, coming towards me.

"Oh, you're right, that was waaay too much," I said.

"But I still want to get back together," he said and kissed me.
