Chapter 2 Beginning of a social life

TIM POV:

I'm 18 years old and I go to Farewell high school. I'm just excited for the year to end.(Ugh) There has never been anything here that catches my eye. I've been here all my life and i haven't found any reasons to stay past high school. Looks like my bus is coming.

AUDREY POV:

I had to wake up at 6:00 because my bus is coming at 6:45 and I want to look nice on my first day of school. I'm worried that it won't go to well. Just then i heard my dad yell for me to come down for breakfast..

Brad: Audrey!! Breakfast is ready! Is your backpack packed and ready to go?

Me: Yes dad! (Gosh i'm not a kid) Haha! I have a good feeling about today. I hope I make a good first impression!

It's already 6:35 dad, so i'm just going to pass breakfast today, because the last thing i need today is to miss the bus. "Alright honey, I love you! And have a nice day." He than hugged and kissed me, then I left.

I walked into the school and it was huge! When I went to meet the principal yesterday he told me to go straight to the main office. I guessed that the first door on the right was the main office. When i walked in I told them my name and they said that they will give me my schedule. I sat down by this guy that looked like he was about to fall asleep. I didn't want to say anything, because he didn't seem to nice.

TIM POV:

I had to go to the office because the principal asked me for a favor. Of course i had to say yes, but i really didn't want to. I never liked this school anyways. I always felt like an outcast. I was just sitting there when this really gorgeous girl came in. She had curly brown country hair, beautiful green/hazel eyes, and a pink little sundress. I thought she looked amazing. It took my breathe away! She came and sat down next to me, and she looked at me and looked a little confused and curious. I wanted to ask her what her name is but then the principal called both of us in. I actually got pretty excited to go in the principal's office for the first time.

AUDREY POV:

Finally, the principal came ad took me in. I was getting a little nervous sitting there with this guy. When i got up, the guy got up too, I wonder why? He came right behind me.

Principal Ted: come in here both of you, please. It's nice seeing u again Audrey.

Tim: Audrey! That her name, i was thinking in my head.

Audrey: Nice to see you to Principal Ted. May I ask why he is here, pointing to the guy next to me.

Principal Ted: good question. This is Mr. Mcgraw, Tim this is Ms. Perry. "But u can call me Tim," Tim said. "And you can all me Audrey" she said.

Tim: Nice to meet you Audrey, "you too," she said. I couldn't help but stare her in the eyes. She probably thought i was crazy or something, but it wasn't my fault, she was so pretty.

Principal Ted: Well Tim will be guiding you around school today, since you guys have all the same classes. He will be there until you can make your self comfortable here.

AUDREY POV:

"Thank you Mr. Ted." I said. I saw Tim keep looking at me, it made me uncomfortable. And then the principal told me that Tim and i can go now. And he said that he'll be here anytime i need him. Then i left and Tim followed me all the way to the middle of the hall way. Finally, i turned around to face him.

Audrey: you don't have to follow me, i can find my classes.

Tim: i want to though. And u seem like someone that doesn't really stand up to people.

Audrey: excuse me? How do u know how i act? You've only known me for like 15 minutes

Tim: more like 14 minutes and 18 seconds. I like to keep track of how long i spend time with pretty ladies like you.

TIM POV:

I than saw her blush a lot, it was so adorable. She than said "you've been keeping time on how long we've been at school today basically?" I said yes. She than laughed, it was like music to my ears. I got sort of disappointed when we got to spanish class. The teacher, Mrs. Dallard then introduced Audrey to the class. I saw in the corner of my eye that Joshua, the "big jock" was staring at her and winking at her. I got very annoyed but why should I, I mean she's not mine, i just get this tension in my stomach.

AUDREY POV:

The teacher gave me a seat that was one place away from Tim. During the whole class period, i could see in the corner of my eye Tim staring at me, an he knew i saw him so he smiled and i accidentally blushed. Then, Mrs. Dallard finally noticed. She then said to Tim " Mr. Mcgraw is there something that you need from Ms. Perry?" He then said no. She then said " Mr. Mcgraw if you spent the same amount of time staring at Ms. Perry, then you'll probably get strait A's." Then I started to blush and giggle. Then I heard the bell ring. School was over, thank god. I wanted to get out of there. I felt uncomfortable because i saw this other kid keep looking at me. He then sent me a note, i didn't want to read it in here. I tried leave as fast as i could. I think Tim noticed because he tried to catch up to me. I finally stopped and he asked me if anything was wrong, and i didn't want to tell him about that other guy, so i said no. We kept talking while we were walking to our lockers. Today was the best day i've had ever since i moved here!
