Chapter 14: Horse Gone Wild...

TIM POV:

"Oh My god, please wake up." I said while crying.
My mom came downstairs asking what's wrong.
"Faith fell of her horse and got knocked out." I said looking at Faith.
"Honey, calm down, let's bring her to the hospital." She said then grabbed her keys and purse.
We got there and and immediately called for a doctor. A couple of nurses and one doctor came out with a stretcher. They put Faith in it and ran through these doors. They said that I couldn't come in unless I was part of her family. I called her dad and told him that she was in the hospital and that he should get down here. I sat in the waiting room with my head in my hands. I felt like I made all of this happen. Brad got here about 45 minutes later, he was already on his way back to home when I called. He walked in and directly came over to me.
"What happened? Where is she." He asked me
"They took her through the doors, I'm so sorry. I did not mean to hurt your daughter in any way." I said to him
"It's alright son, you didn't mean to." He said then went up to the front desk.
"Excuse me ma'am? Could I go see my daughter? Her name is Audrey Perry." Brad said
"Yes sir, let me lead you to her. You can bring 1 person with you." She said
He than looked at me and told me to come.
"Sorry mom, I'll tell you all the updates. Thanks for driving me." I said to my mom
"It's fine honey, I'll be out here if you need me." She said then smiled
I then ran up to Brad and the lady. We went to the elevators. She was on the 4th floor. We finally got to her room.
"She is unconscious, so just be aware." She said
"Okay, thanks." I said then smiled.
I walked in and Faith didn't look to good. She was looking so peaceful just sitting there. I brought a chair over and sat next to the bed. I grabbed her hand and just looked down at her. The nurse told me to press this button if she wakes up. I sat there just looking at her for about 20 minutes. Then Brad came in with coffee and some chips.
"Hey, don't worry you had no way of knowing this would happen." He sat patting my back.
"I don't know know how you're not freaking out about this." I said looking up to him
"Well, cause I know she will be ok. And you should always assume the best." He said
"Your right, and thanks for the coffee." I said, then he handed it to me.

~~3 Hours Later~~

I was still holding Faith's hand. I felt her grasp onto mine. She started to flutter her eyes. I started to smile. When she looked over to me she said
"Now, that's what I like to wake up to."
"Hey Darling, how do you feel?" I asked
I then remembered to press the button when she woke up. Doctor Adams came in with one nurse. He looked like he was about mid forty's. He than asked her a billion questions. When the the Doctor left Faith scooted over and patter the place next to her.
"Come sit with me." She said
"Okay, how do you feel?" I asked her while I was getting up there
"I feel ok I guess." She said
Well the doctor says that you have to stay here for at least another 4 hours to check if you have a concussion and then said you have a minor sprained ankle. But don't worry, you'll be right back on track soon.
Tim: I'm so sorry this happened to you.

Faith: It wasn't your fault. You didn't know that Daisy would do that.

Tim: That's what everyone is saying, but if I just didn't let you ride the horse, then you wouldn't have fell.

Faith: I would much rather get a little hurt and have fun, then my have any fun and not get hurt.

Tim: True, I love that you always think positive about situations.

She smiled and asked if she could have some water. I gave her the water bottle I had. We sat there for about 2 hours just talking. Then the doctor came in to give her some medicine for her concussion. They only need to keep her here for another 1 hour. I figured to bring Uno, a game. We played for half and hour, until I decided to go pick us up some food. Nick called me while I was at Chic-Fil-a. He asked me if Faith was okay. I told him that she got a concussion and sprained ankle. He said that he could drop some balloons and chocolate at the hospital. I told him that he could just leave them next to her room. When I came back into her room, I saw him standing there holding the balloons and chocolate.
"I thought you were just going to leave them outside her door." I said to him
"Well I didn't want to be rude and just leave, so I came in instead." He said
"Tim, it's fine. Thank you for the chocolate and other stuff Nick." Faith Said
"Now we can finish our game" She said
"That sounds wonderful!" I said happy
