TIM POV:

Faith and I haven't spoken a word in the last five minutes. It really does hurt when I hear that she needs someone more than me. I try so hard to give her everything she needs and I just don't think I am succeeding. The last time I saw Justin was when I punched him for kissing Faith. I actually don't feel too sorry for doing that.
We finally reached the grocery store. I hopped out of the car and so did Faith.
I forgot to get Faith something small for our anniversary. She says to only get me a small thing, but I got one big thing and one small thing. I knew how much she loved riding Daisy and saddling the horses, so I got her one. Her name is Crystal, and it's a Clydesdale. It came in three days ago so I had to hide it from her. That is sort of why I am avoiding her, but I'm still a little mad about Justin just being here. I wouldn't trust him around anyone around here. I figured that I could get her a promise ring. I will promise her that I will be there for her through the thick and thin, through the darkest and the lightest times, and will never leave her side for anything. Most teenagers theses days take these rings for granted and don't keep the meaning of them. I know that Faith is different though. I just need to find a way to get her out with her friends instead of me, so I can go to the jewelry store. She doesn't spend anytime with her friends anymore, I think it's because of me. She mentioned one of her friends back in Jacksonville. I want to call Jessica and try to get her friend down here. Maybe she can even stay until her graduation party. I know Faith is missing her, everyone at this school are nothing but jerks and immature.
We finished putting all the groceries on the table. Faith went up to pay, but I stopped her.

"I can pay for it." I said.

"You don't have to, it's my party." She said.

"But I insist, cause I love you." I said.

"Well if you insist." She said smiling.

We grabbed the couple of grocery bags and walked out holding hands.
We got home and saw her mom putting her purse down on the counter.

"MOM!!!!" Faith said running over to her and hugging her like she was trying suffocate her.

"Hey darling, missed you already." She said smiling.

"Oh Tim it's nice to see you again." She said looking at me.

"You too, Jessica." I said.

We all sat down at the table and Faith went to pour some ice tea.

"So mom, what is new besides you know getting engaged?" Faith asked.

FAITH POV:

"Pretty good, I just wanted to ask if we could get together and have like a wedding planner day. Did I ever mention that you are the maid of honor?" She asked.

I was sort of shocked, but I'm glad. I just wish it was for my mom and dad's renewal. Since my mom and Chad live in Florida and so does Justin, Chad chose him to be one of the groomsmen. Of course that mean's he'll be walking with me down the isle. I can't wait for this whole thing end, she may love him but he is not good enough for her.

"Yeah my mom you did mention it, and we could have one in like 3 days" I said.

"Great, Chad is having a bachelors night with the guys tomorrow night and he was wondering if Tim could go." She said.

I am pretty surprised that he invited him, considering the last time Tim was next to him.

"Yeah, I'll check my schedule. Where is Chad again?" Tim said.

"Went golfing again with the boys, apparently he really liked it there when he went with you guys." She said smiling.

"So is there anything else happening in your life?" I asked.

"I was waiting for you to ask! I just applied for a job around this area!" She said smiling.

"Oh really?! That is awesome news, so what would you do?" I asked.

"Well I'll be a florist designer. My old friend set it up for me a couple weeks ago. She said that I had a super good chance of getting it." She said really happy and excited.

"Oh I'm so happy for you mom! I can't wait for you to move here I hope! What does Chad think about it?" I asked.

"He is happy for me, and said that he'll be looking for houses this weekend and next week!" She said.

I wonder if he remembers that night or it was a big blur? For me it was the worst day of my life. I don't know if I should tell my mom. We are finally building a good relationship. She wouldn't believe me. I'll do my best.

"Hey mom, do you remember that cook out we had about a week ago?" I asked.

"Oh yeah I do, it was a very different one." She said.

I also remember that was the night that my dad kissed my mom. I bet she doesn't remember that but I do.

"Do you remember kissing dad?" I asked.
My mom gave me almost a death stare.

"My memory is very vague, let's not talk about that." She said.

"Well can we just talk about that night?" I asked

"Why not, so what do you want to talk about?" She asked.

"Well Chad went back into the house when Tim and I got back from the store. And I went to my room while Tim went to go put the groceries away from the store in the basement. After a couple of minutes, I heard someone at the door. I thought that it was Tim so I told h to come in. Then I realized that it was Chad, but he was drunk. He tried to rape me but after 1 minute or two, Tim came in and knocked him out. That's why I stayed at Tim's house that night." I said having a breath of relief.

"Audrey why would you create something like this?" My mom said.

"What? I am not making this up?" I said.

"Chad promised me that he wouldn't do it ever again to anyone. I believe him." She said.

I couldn't believe that she didn't believe me. It hurt so much.

"I would think that you would believe your own daughter instead of your fiancé, but I guess not." I said.

"I never thought that you would make up something such as this, just because you don't like him." She said.

"I don't have to deal with him or you right now. I have a lot more in my life that I should care about than an engagement party for someone that I don't even like." I said.

"Mrs. Perry or what ever you want to be called right now. Faith is telling the truth. You may think that Chad wouldn't do such a thing, but he did." Tim said budding in.

I wrapped arms around one of his. He then rubbed my arm.

"I am leaving, I really don't feel welcomed with my soon to be husband. Have a good life Audrey." Mom said then got up from the table and went up stairs. I'm guessing to pack her stuff up.

"Aw Tim, I just lost my mom again." I said putting my face in him shirt about to start crying.

"Shh baby, don't worry it will be all work out soon." He said rubbing my back.

I couldn't stop now, I was crying.

15 minutes later I saw my mom walk downstairs and out the door she left.

"What have I done?" I sobbed into Tim's shirt.

"You did the right thing, and when she realizes that you are right, she will come back, but for now you have me." Tim said.

"What if I lose her forever? What if she never figures out?" I asked.

"Don't worry baby, she will." He said.

We just sat there hugging for a little while. I love that I have someone to have all for my self.
