Chapter 15: The Day light of Barbecue

TIM POV:

Right before the whole thing happened Faith invited me to this cook that her mom is doing tomorrow. Faith is so excited for it!Jessica was very important in her life. I could tell she missed her a lot. I've never met Jessica before, but she sounds really nice. I'm excited to go with her to this. I'm going to miss her when she goes with her mom for Winter Break. But this means that I have time to plan her graduation party. I know that her parents are supposed to but, I promised her that I would show her everyday how much I love her. I don't think she has a clue about this! It will be fantastic. I'm pretty sure that she will not be going to collage, so this has to be remembered.
I've been 18 since October so it's not a big deal, but she just turned 18 so I thought that it would be fun to make the theme of the graduation party "Live like Your Gonna Die Young" I plan on running with her to Nashville and write music. I've had that dream since I was 15 years old. I'm supposed to meet Jessica tonight to go over the plans for her party. The boyfriend that Faith doesn't like is supposed to be there. He sounds like an ass whole already. He shouldn't break apart a family, that he walked into. I'm happy that Jessica is coming, Faith needs a lady to talk to. She has me, but I'm just not the same as another girl. Chad invited Brad and I to go golfing with him while Jessica sets everything up. Brad had already said yes, and I didn't want to make Brad feel awkward with just Chad, so I said yes. At least I'll have Brad with me. I don't know what Faith is doing. I think she said that she has to go to the doctors to get a checkup on her sprained ankle. She looks like she's really stressed and to add to that, I probably made her even more stressed when we had a fight. I don't even play golf, but if I do marry Faith than I'll have to get to know both the parents, so they like me.

FAITH POV:

I had to go visit the doctor for a check up. My ankle has felt like crap for a while now. I can't believe Sarah actually lowered Tim into coming to her house. What if she did something to him? Tim never told me that Sarah and him dated before I came. That is a huge detail that he forgot. I really can't trust him around her. I found that out from Clara, and that they apparently were serious. I know I should trust him, but it's not him that I don't trust, it's her. I was getting really scared when I saw him in her bedroom. My stress levels have been rising a lot, is the past couple of days.
My doctor tells me that I have to keep my blood pressure down, and try to stay stress free as possible. He also gave me some pills for my ankle.
Tim seems really busy the past days. Even when he's with me, it seems like he's somewhere else. I hope I didn't say anything to push him away, besides when I ran away from him that night.
I'm so excited to see my mom! It's too bad that Chad has to come. The last time I saw him was when he basically kicked me out.
I'm going to go to Tim's house to surprise him. I know he's home since he should be getting ready for our 'date'
I decided to cook roast beef, since I know that he loves it! I would make chicken n' dumplings, but only Tim knows how to make it. Apparently it was his grandmothers secret.

~~Few Hours Later~~

I walked up to his door step with my gifts and some sheets of paper. I was getting a little bit nervous for some reason. I then knocked on the door and his mom answered the door.
"Oh hey Faith, Tim is upstairs. Would you like a snack to bring up to Tim?" She asked me
"I think we're fine, but thanks a lot." I said and then smiled and walked upstairs to see Tim in his bedroom with his guitar.
"Hey there Jimi Hendrix, how's ya working doing?" I said coming over to the back of him and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Just workin on stuff! I didn't expect you coming to me." He said with a smile
"Oh you want me to leave?" I asked
"Never, I'll be right back! I have something for you." He said and went over to dresser
"You know I don't need anything?" I said looking over to him searching.
"I know, but we're coming up to our 1 month anniversary, and I know it's stupid to celebrate. But I had a wonderful idea." He said still looking
"That's so sweet of you, I got you something too." I said taking something out of my satchel.
"Ah ha found it! And that's kind, I really don't need anything either." He said
"Well since you got me something, it would be wrong if I didn't get you anything." I said
Tim came over to me with something in his hand.
"Don't peak, it's a surprise." He said when he saw me looking.
When he said that I could open them, I saw that he got me this blanket. I looked to see what it said, they were all the things we did, and how many times we did it. For instance, we went to get ice cream 4 times, and this family party 2 times, went to the movies 3 times, the huge oak tree was 8 times. The last thing it said was " You're my angels from Heaven." I almost had tears running down my cheeks. I don't know how I got so lucky with him.
