Chapter 3: The perfect day

AUDREY POV:

Tim offered to walk home with me, which is probably better than riding the bus. I couldn't resist his adorable face, his golden brown eyes, and perfect hair. So of course i said yes. He looked pretty happy when i said yes. There weren't many people that walk home. So there was only us and three other guys. Tim seemed to not like them, i could see it in his eyes.

TIM POV:

I was so happy that Audrey said yes to walking home with me. I couldn't stop looking at her. She looked so breathtaking with the breeze blowing against her face and hair. It was only us and Matt, Keith, and Joshua. I could see Josh looking at Audrey, for the second time today. He finally came over to us and smacked Audrey's butt. I got so annoyed by him, i finally bursted and told him to leave her alone. I could see that made Audrey really uncomfortable. Then Josh said "Why do you care, you aren't dating her?" I told him that she is my friend and i'm not going let you make her uncomfortable and feel useless. He looked like he was getting angry and just walked away. Audrey then thanked me for defending her. She seemed so sweet and innocent. We finally got to her house. She invited me inside and i obviously wanted to so I said yes!

AUDREY POV:

"I'M HOME!" I yelled so my dad could hear. "And i have someone that i want you to meet" After that, my grandma walked in from the kitchen, "My my who is this handsome feller?" She asked. Tim smiled and said hi.

Norma: You look like a nice young boy.

Tim: thank you Mrs. Perry, this is a very nice home you have.

Norma: thank you very much and you can call me Norma.

Brad: who are you? I said when I came down the stairs.

Tim: I'm Tim sir, it's a pleasure to meet you.

Brad: Honey, you didn't tell me that someone was coming over.

Tim: (Interrupts) I planned on taking her home. It was all my idea.

Brad: what are you guys going to do?

Audrey: STUDY! I said quickly so my dad wouldn't get any ideas in his head.

Norma: it was nice meeting u boy!

Brad: I plan on checking in a couple of times, if that is fine with you guys. I'm about to go to the store, just to let you know.

Norma: Stop it son! They are better than that, (she said laughing)

Audrey: we'll be in my room if you need us.

TIM POV:

I walked upstairs with Audrey, then i saw her room. It look so girly and cool at the same time. She said that she was under construction repainting it. She had light blue curtains, pink covers with different colored flowers on her bed, and she has this nice big wooden desk in the corner with a light and everything. I took that is where she does all her studying. She seemed like one of those girls who cares about school. She then asked what I wanted to go over first, i actually didn't even want to do anything to do with school, i just wanted to hang out, but i had to answer so i chose History. She brought her book to her bed and she patted the top for me to come over and lay with her and work. I wanted to lay with her but not to work, haha. I then saw a picture of her dad, mom and her. I wanted to ask her about her mother but she looked too focused to notice so i figured i'll do it later.
||1 and a half hours later||

AUDREY POV:

I was going over all the history i missed when i was moving, but i don't think Tim payed any attention to it at all. I just saw him laying there looking at me. I don't think he really wanted to go over history. He then asked me about my mother. I really didn't want to talk about it, and i think he could notice so he said i didn't have to answer. I just told him that i would explain that later. It was about 5:45 and I was getting a little bit hungry and i could tell that he was too. I asked him if he wanted to go eat something and he said yes.

TIM POV:

I was getting hungry, but i didn't want to say anything to disturb Audrey because she looked so pretty sitting there talking about history, but i was paying any attention. She finally asked me if i wanted to eat, and i said yes! I told her i had a good idea for a place to eat. But she then said that we could eat here, but i insisted to take her out to eat, since she sort of helped me study. I knew the perfect place, it's called Vegno's. I like to go eat there when i'm with my buddies. It's a place when you can make your own pizza, it's super fun. I told Audrey about it and she thought it was the perfect idea too. I forgot that we walked home from school so i don't have my truck, so we decided to walk which was not a bad idea. It was probably around 2 and a half miles down the road. It was a breezy fall day, and the sun was about to set so it was still warm, and we just talked the whole way there, it was perfect. When we got there we got seated then the waitress came back and asked what we wanted to drink. It was funny how we both chose the same thing, a chocolate milkshake with whip cream. We both laughed after we got our drinks. We then got up and we went over to the counter where you add all the seasonings, cheese, sauce, and toppings. I put almost everything on it. But Audrey just put pepperoni and sausage on hers. It was so fun, we just laughed and talked until we noticed it was 7:30 and we decided to leave. We walked back to her house and just laid there on her bed for a couple of minutes in silence, then she told me that she had a ton of fun and that we should do it again sometime.

AUDREY POV: I had so much fun with Tim at Vegno's. we had an awesome time just laughing and talking. After we left, we came back to my house and laid on my bed for a couple of minutes, then I suggested that we should make dessert. He love that idea, i could tell. We then went downstairs and we took out all the ingredients to make two banana splits. Tim chased me around the counter after i rubbed some chocolate on his face. He picked me up and swung me around, i couldn't stop laughing. We finally finished eating our desserts. After we cleaned the counters and floor because he dropped some whip cream on the ground when he tried to hit me with it. It was around 9:00 and Tim decided to leave because we had a long day ahead of us. After he left i couldn't wipe the smile of my face. When i went into my room, i couldn't stop smiling either and i just sat there thinking about how great today was. It was the perfect day. I then slowly drifted off asleep
