"Why do you keep doing this to me?" I wine as I sit in the car blindfolded.

Our last class just ended and now we are ready for a long weekend.

It's been a few weeks, and college is good so far.

"It's fun watching you get impatient." He responds.

"I don't like not knowing where you are taking me." I counter.

Today is our four year anniversary, so I know that it is going to be a good surprise.

When he finally stops the car and helps me out, the blindfold gets to come off.

When I look in front of me I see the most cliche and adorable picnic ever.

I let out a small squeal when I see it.

"This is so adorable!" I exclaim.

The area is empty, absolutely no one is around, we appear to me in the middle of nowhere.

I just throw my arms around him and start to cry.

"Thank you. I love you so much." I tell him.

"I love you too Chloe." He returns.

I know it's cliche, a surprise picnic during sunset. But it's also something that is really special and fun. A lot more work goes into it than just going out to dinner.

"You better not be proposing." I say, this seems like the perfect scene for it, but I wasn't expecting it for at least another year. "I didn't dress cute today and my nails are a mess." I explain.

"Chloe you are beautiful." He tells me. "And that wasn't my plan. But if it was, that just ruined it." He jokes.

"I can't believe it's been four years." I say.

All this time has gone by so quickly.

It feels like we just met, but it's been so long. Four years is so long for a high school relationship.

"That sounds so long." He replies.

"I know, that's so crazy. I feel like we just met sitting in the English classroom, and now here we are, in college. It's just so crazy." I say.

"Next thing we know, we will be graduating college, getting married, getting real jobs, having kids, and getting old." He adds.

The work has definitely picked up at school. Things have gotten a little crazy, but I'm okay.

I haven't talked to any of my friends a lot, everyone is so busy with school.

Luckily we still see Bryan a few times a week at school, and he invites us, or sometimes just Massi, over to just hang out.

The semester has at least been going by rather quickly.

"I hope you know I'm going to fall asleep here." I tell Massi.

I am tired and I'm on a blanket. Chances are, I'll be falling asleep.

It doesn't take much for me to fall asleep though.

"Trust me, I know that. All you do is sleep." He jokes.

"Shut up." I laugh. "What food did you bring me?" I question.

He pulls out a ton of fruit.

This is my dream. I almost start to cry. I love this.

"Here you are." He says, handing me strawberries.

"I love you so much." Is all I can say. He gave me strawberries.

"I love you too." He laughs as I start eating.

And he even cut everything up.

Boyfriends who cut up all your fruit for you are seriously goals.

Cutting up mangos is painful, but the fact that he did it for me makes me tear up.

"I cannot believe you did all for me. You are so amazing." I gush.

"Chloe, all I did was cut up fruit and give it to you." He points out.

"Okay, but it's still really thoughtful." I point out to him.

"I love you." He shrugs.

The two of us just sit down and eat for so long as we just watch the giant empty field around us.

There are no people in sight, no cars have driven by. All I have seen is some birds and a few squirrels.

Overall, the area is really secluded and it's nice to escape society for a little bit.

"I still cannot believe everything you do for me." I tell Massi.

"I love you." He repeats, again.

"I love you too. You are so amazing, and thoughtful, and kind. And also look at you, because wow. And you treat me so well, and I love when you hug me, and kiss me, and I just love being in your arms. You are just so amazing. I love just looking at you, your eyes are just so pretty, and your smile is so perfect. And I just love you so much." I tell him, going into one of the rants he likes to go on, and it makes me realize why he does it, because it's hard to shut up when you start.

"I mean, look at you Chloe. You are so beautiful, and funny, you are so kind and hardworking, and passionate. You are so smart and stunning. You are so selfless and your laugh is just amazing. You really are the most amazing person I have ever met and I love you more than anything. And your eyes, my gosh, they are the most stunning shade of green in existence, and your hair is gorgeous and everything about you is just perfect. And look at you in that outfit," he rambles, just looking at me up and down. "I have no idea how I can even think straight looking at you in that, because wow, you look amazing. And don't even get me started on you without any clothes, because oh my gosh, that is beyond perfection." He continues.

Knowing he can go on forever, I just lean in and kiss him because that's all I can do in the moment.

He quickly reciprocates and his hands grab my waist as my arms wrap around his neck.

After some time, the sun goes down as night is arriving.

When we find both our shirts off of us, we decide that this probably isn't the best location to be doing this, so we get fully clothed again and decide to head home.

"Thanks, that was really fun." I tell Massi.

"I love you." He responds.

I am beyond exhausted people.
