"Why do you always have to overpack?" Massi asks me.

"Excuse me for being prepared." I counter.

Massi and I decided to plan a fun day for all of our friends. We are all meeting at a lake soon, and there is a park, a walking trail, a volleyball court, and everything we need to have a fun day.

Everyone is going off to college soon, so we only have a few more days like this, we have a camping trip planned, as well as a late night bonfire at Bryan's before people head to college.

Everyone is able to make it too, all my friends, and his, along with a few extra people that are just slightly farther out on the friend spectrum than our usual groups.

Because it is our plan, Massi and I are heading out early to set everything up.

I make sure I have all the food packed, sunscreen, extra clothes, and everything we need for the day, all the games, and a volleyball.

The swimsuit I chose for the day is a little complicated, so I decide to just put it on here, because if I try to do it there in a tiny bathroom stall, it would be a mess and take forever.

I just have my amazing boyfriend figure out the clasp for me. The purple top has a high neckline that makes it impossible to turn around once it is clasped, and the clasp is nearly impossible to do without looking at it.

I put on the bikini bottoms and add a pair of floral printed shorts and a high neck black top that doesn't look off with the swimsuit top under it.

Once we are dressed and everything is packed and ready for the day, we head to my car so I can drive us there.

The drive is about 20 minutes away, it's not too far, but it's a bit out of the way.

When we do arrive, we claim a table and set everything up, we put all the food on the table and make sure all the towels and everything are easily accessible, as well as the games and all of that.

Once we are ready, we just sit down and relax, our friends should be arriving soon.

We sit across from each other and talk as we eat almost all of the fruit we brought with us.

The first to arrive is Travis, Damon, and Devon. After them is Jennifer, who is the only one who drove alone, then Elle, Rachel and Luke, Rachel's boyfriend. After them comes Bryan, Jason, Sabrina, and Amber, Jason's girlfriend.

Once everyone has arrived, we decide to head to the water.

My main goal for the day is to not have the police get involved at all.

Sometimes, getting a huge group together isn't the best idea.

Especially a group of loud teenagers.

A few people, like Sabrina, choose not to go swimming and just sit at the table and eat.

Most of us just have fun in the lake, talking and splashing, trying not to get dragged under the water when we do not see it coming.

I keep a close eye on Travis, and Damon too.

Once we spend enough time in the water, we head back to the table.

Once I change into a new outfit, I decide that it is time for some games.

We split off into volleyball teams, boys versus girls. My team is Amber, Elle, Jennifer, Rachel, Sabrina, and myself, and the other team is Bryan, Damon, Devon, Jason, Luke, Massi, and Travis, giving our team six people, and theirs seven.

Luckily Jennifer has played volleyball for years, so she is able to carry the team to victory. I didn't really do much because I am awful at volleyball.
