When I wake in the morning, my phone is going off for minutes without any sign of stopping.
Between Massi, all our friends, my boss, my coaches, my school cheer teammates, my all-star cheer teammates, the girls on the team I coach, family, and everyone else who knows it is my birthday, I am getting an endless amount of messages.
"Happy birthday Chloe!" My mother says upon bursting into my room.
"Thanks mom." I tell her.
My father has already left for work based on the time, and she is about to.
"Sorry we have to work, but have an amazing day, see you tomorrow!" She tells me, giving me a hug before leaving my room.
Quickly, I hop out of bed and go to my bathroom.
I hear my mom drive away as I put in my contacts and brush my teeth.
Somehow, Massi's parent's monthly business trip lined up with my birthday, and his sister is staying at a friend's house.
Meaning, I am having a sleepover at 'Sabrina's' for my birthday.
This also means that Massi and I are just going to go to graduation together in the morning, and our parents and his sister will meet us there.
I quickly throw on an outfit and grab my already packed bag for tomorrow.
I make sure Massi is ready for my arrival and I get in my car and quickly make my way over to his house.
Upon entering Massi's house, I am instantly pulled into a hug.
"Happy birthday Love." He tells me.
"Thank you." I say, kissing him.
"You are finally legal." He reminds me.
"I know. Now I can confess my undying love of you to my parents, get disowned, then go who knows where. Then we can get married, and forget that my parents even exist." I tell him, adding a smile, awkwardly, as I don't know what to do.
"Chloe." Is all he says before hugging me tightly.
"Massi, I'm fine." I assure him.
"I love you." He tells me, showing no sign of letting me go.
"I love you too." I remind him. "But please let me go." I request, adding a small laugh.
"I don't want to." Be wines.
I love having him hug me, something about being hugged is so comforting.
Again, I laugh as I pull away from him.
"Chloe." He wines, giving me a sad look.
"Don't look at me like that." I tell him.
"But I love you." He repeats.
"We can cuddle all you want later when we go to bed." I remind him.
"Alright." He tells me.
"So, what is the plan for the day?" I ask him.
"It's your birthday, not mine." He points out.
"I know. But I don't know, we can go swimming." I suggest.
"Where?" He asks me.
"We can go to my house? My parents are going to be gone all day, they never come home before like five." I suggest, as I have a huge inground pool with a slide in my backyard.
"Are you sure?" Massi asks me, he has never actually been to my house, when we go swimming it is usually at Bryan's, and we never go to my house to hang out or anything.
