Your POV:

The sun rose, indicating the same gloomy day I need to face. I dragged my legs to the washroom to take a quick shower and head to my work.

I barely ate the eggs my maid prepared for my breakfast as I never had a proper appetite for years.

The driver greeted me once again, even when he knew I just nod blankly. I got into the car and watch the city through the window. Nothing seems new or interesting to me.

Even the cute giggles of children in the park, the noise from the students near their school gate, the news on the screen beside any building, didn't catch my attention. The driver opened the door and I got down in front of my office. I made usual steps through the ground floor as everyone greeted me not caring about me greeting them back as they already knew that I never did it.

Hana entered bringing my schedule which is in her tab.

"Ms. Lee you have a board meeting at 11 am for the final discussion of US branches," she said everything in one go and I really like that cause I hate when anyone drags their words.

"Okay"

"And actually there is one more thing Miss, the CEO of Kim corporation wants to meet you today for dinner to discuss the branch setup"

"Dinner? Okay set the place and inform him" I replied quickly as I need to check some documents regarding the sales and have a talk with that new sales manager.

Hana left the room scrolling her tab. I kept reviewing the files while sipping my almost cooled coffee Hana brought me earlier. After checking all the files I informed Hana to send the new sales manager to my cabin.

After some time, a person well precisely a male entered my cabin but I didn't look at him as I was working on my laptop.

"Good morning Ms.Lee, I'm the new sales manager for Seoul branches" he greeted me.

Wait...this voice, why does it seem familiar? As if I've heard it every day.

He broke my trail of thoughts by saying "My name is Jeon Jungkook"

I shot up my head to see him... He...he is...no way... He changed a lot.

He grew much taller than before, having a perfect muscular body and those pink lips. His eyes almost popped out looking at me as if he just realized I'm still alive.

Well, he doesn't think like that cause he is not me. I averted my gaze to my laptop screen and nodded. Later I took a file and gave it without facing him.

"Check these files and make a report by tomorrow"

He took the file and turned the pages before saying yes to me.

"Have you been well?" He asked me.

I looked at him receiving an intense stare from him. His eyes...I didn't forget them and those hands which wiped my tears were holding the file I gave him.

"Alive and healthy" I replied him and his stare immediately changed into a confused look.

His furrowed eyebrows and slightly parted lips, all were perfect as usual. He nodded and left the cabin. I sighed heavily and continued looking at my laptop screen.
