Your POV:

My heart dropped to my stomach. I was unable to form any words. And here he was, holding my hand, waiting for my answer. Oh, God!

I looked into his eyes and sensed his anticipation. He was quite nervous but smiling outside. I took a deep breath and took the bouquet from his hands.

"Can we take this slow? I need to think about it Tae" I asked him.

I don't want to hurt him in any way

"Sure y/n, take all the time you want. I'm happy that you considered my feelings" he held my hands squeezing them gently.

I gave him a small smile.

Do I really feel anything for him? Can I really give Tae the love which I gave to Jimin? Can I approve Tae as my partner?

A chain of questions kept running in my mind and I don't have an answer for those.

Why in the world did I ask for some time? What's gotten into me?

Tae got a call so he walked away to take it. I turned my gaze and looked at Jimin and Jungkook. Jungkook smiled looking at me while Jimin's gaze was different. I saw his eyes were ready to tear.

"Y/n, Eomma is calling me. I'll be back and drop you at home" Tae patted my cheek and left us.

Jimin rushed to the exit and Jungkook ran behind to stop him.

"Jimin Hyung, wait" Jungkook walked beside me.

Jimin bumped into Beomgyu, looked at him for some long time, and walked away yanking his hand from Jungkook's grip.

"Is that Park Jimin?" Beomgyu mumbled to himself walking towards me.

"Yes he is Park Jimin, do you know him?" I asked Beomgyu.

"If he is Park Jimin, then, of course, I know him. I thought I'm seeing things" he replied.

What? How did he know him? Looks like Jimin also knows Beomgyu by seeing the way he looked at Beomgyu just a while ago.

"H-how do you know him?" I asked him.

"He's my girlfriend's cousin. He used to pick her up at times and we got to know each other well" he replied.

Jimin's cousin...it means, is he talking about Leena?

"You mean Leena is your girlfriend?" I asked Beomgyu.

"Yeah. She's my classmate and we ended up dating" he mumbled.

I got so excited. I knew she studied in my previous school but I didn't know she was dating someone.

"Wow Beomgyu, I'm so happy for you. You know, I'm so close to Leena. We used to hang out a lot before I moved to Seoul. She is a very cute and kind-hearted girl. Where is she now? Is she in Seoul too? Give me her number" I asked him.

I can finally catch up with my long-lost friend.

Beomgyu was silent, head kept low. I was looking at him so happy but he was biting his lower lip.

"Beomgyu, what happened man?" I asked patting his shoulder to gain his attention. 

He raised his head to look at me and I saw tears rolling down his cheeks.
