( Nash's POV)
Daren.
Daren Matthews.
He should be in jail. Of course he's not he's a criminal. He escaped and he's back for revenge.
When we were little Conner, Sawer, Paige, Faith, Chase and I were all best friends.
We were 9 years old, the girls were 7, we had all gotten together for lunch. Sawer wanted to go to Sonic, So we did. It was across the main road but we thought we could make it.
We ran as fast as we could. Once we got to the other side we noticed not everybody was there.
We heard a faint scream and ran to their aid. We were only 9 we had no idea what to do. The person that hit him left and we didn't have phones.
I ran to Sonic and got an employee to help. She called the police and they sent help.
It was too late.
He was dead.
A month later I decided to go to his grave.
Our mothers wouldn't kept us go to the funeral because we were a crying mess.
I went there for the next week. Once I decided I could handle it I brought Sawer. When we showed up his dad was there. He blamed Sawer for everything because it was her idea to go to Sonic.
He stormed off and left her there stunned she then broke down in a puddle of tears. We stayed there for three hours. She ended up falling asleep so I talked to him for thirty minutes and picked up Sawer and left.
That was the last time I went to Chase Matthews grave.
I would have went more but his dad was there and he wanted revenge.
A year after that I met the boys, kian, trevor, ricky, jc, and Sam. Sawer was still a crying mess but soon got over it.
