"Ugh! Why did I even choose this dress? I should have worn something else. I look terrible." Prachi moaned while checking herself in the mirror.
She had decided to surprise Ranbir by wearing something simple and traditional for the date but was regretting her decision at the last moment.
"Well, I still have some time. I can change quickly before Ranbir comes." she thought.
The honking of a car dashed her plans.
"Prachi beta, are you done? Ranbir is here." Pragya opened the door of Prachi's room, only to find her sulking in a corner.
"What happened to my princess?" she asked.
"I look horrendous. Ranbir will hate me." Prachi replied whining like a child.
Pragya couldn't help but laugh at her. "My princess is looking beautiful. I'm sure Ranbir will not judge you by what you wear. Now be quick. He is waiting for you." she smiled.
Prachi thanked Pragya and rushed downstairs where Ranbir was waiting for her.
"Good morning Ranbir." she greeted him.
"Good morning Pra........." his mouth hung open as he witnessed the beauty in front of his eyes. "Beautiful......." he gasped.
"Thank you." Prachi blushed. "You are looking great too." she complimented.
Prachi was mesmerized by Ranbir's look. It was one of those occasions when Ranbir had decided to wear something other than formals. Prachi was reminded of the first time when she had wished he could model for her.
"Both of you are looking really amazing. This surely calls for some pictures." Pragya suggested beaming.
Prachi and Ranbir knew that it was impossible to refuse her, so they agreed to pose for her.

"That was cute. Now, how about some romantic pictures?" Pragya was in a mood to click a lot of pictures.
"Maa....." Prachi rebuked her.
"Come on, don't be old fashioned. A hug won't harm either of you." Pragya pouted.
Ranbir glanced helplessly at Prachi. All she could do was give an apologetic look in return.
So, another picture was clicked.

"Now, you.........." Pragya began to advice for another pose when Ranbir interrupted her.
"I thought of a really good pose, anki. Can we give it a try?" he asked.
Pragya nodded while Prachi looked surprised. Ranbir winked at her. Prachi understood the signal and grinned.
They stood close to each other, as if giving a romantic pose. But, as soon as Pragya was about to click the picture, they changed their expression to a pout which resulted in the picture coming unlike what Pragya had expected.

They laughed at Pragya's gaping face and left for their date.

"Can I open my eyes now?" Prachi asked impatiently.
Ranbir had blindfolded her as he wanted to surprise her.
"Wait for a minute." he held her hand and guided her towards their destination.
He stopped at a particular place and removed her blindfold slowly.
Prachi was stunned to see the beautiful sight in front of her. A smile automatically crept on to her lips.
The scenery in front of her was surely a one to behold. They were surrounded by greenery on every side. The flowers has decorated the area with every shade of color in an artist's palette. The birds seemed to be welcoming them with their melodious and blissful song. The music of silence penetrated their ears. The peaceful aura surrounding them made them feel heaven on earth. In the middle of the enchanting place, was a table set for two. It was decorated with petals of roses of not only red but also white, yellow and pink color. The white canopy over it was decked with twinkling fairy lights.
"Do you like this place?" Ranbir asked apprehensively.
"I had never expected this." Prachi was unable to express her ecstatic feelings through mere words.
Perhaps, she had chosen the wrong words as Ranbir's face drooped.
"I'm sorry if it was not up to your expectations." he said dejectedly.
"I.....I didn't mean that I don't like this place. I had expected you to arrange something usual like the other people do......like booking plush restaurants or other such things. But, this is better than all of those. It's the best place I have ever been to." Prachi said beaming like an excited child.
"Glad that you like this place." Ranbir said with his smile proving the truth of his words.
"Have a seat Milady." he said pulling a chair for her.
Prachi giggled and sat down. She loved the gentle behavior of Ranbir and his small gestures.
There were a number of covered dishes in front of them. Ranbir gestured Prachi to uncover them. As she opened the lids one by one, a wide grin surfaced on her face with her eyes twinkling in delight.
"Wow! They are all my favorites!" she exclaimed merrily. "How did you know about my preferences?"
"Umm......Aryan has taken a little help from your PA."

"So, how did it start?" Prachi cast an eager glance at Ranbir.
They were now chatting to know a bit more about each other. Prachi wanted to know how and when had Ranbir started liking her.
"The first time we met was when you mistook me for one of your models. I was shocked and daresay impressed at your boldness. Aryan gave me some basic information about you soon after. Your achievements by sheer determination and hard work made me respect you. Soon enough, we kept bumping into each other often due to our P.A.s. The accidental meetings made me know about your personality. I myself did not realize when I began falling for you. Now, with your permission, I would like to take our relation to the next level." he said looking directly into her eyes.
Prachi sighed. She had feared for this time and it had come.
"Ranbir........You must know my past if you want to take any such decision." she said.
"It's not necessary. I like you for what you are. Your past won't affect my feelings for you." Ranbir knew that it was difficult for her to recounter her painful past. He didn't want to dig into it.
"I know that you trust me Ranbir, but out of all persons you must know it." she said determinedly.
