EPISODE 9

This update is  earlier than I thought, all thanks to my one and only cupcake,  Pranbirforever. Itna cutely update maanga, mai maana nahi kar payi. Kaam se kaam pure 100 par please likhke bejh diya. Here goes the update.

Aryan sighed in self pity when he was summoned to Ranbir's cabin. He wondered what mistake he had digged up this time.

"You called me, sir?"

Ranbir looked at him. There was suspicion on his face and he nodded.

"Is there any issue sir?" Aryan was prepared for a shouting.

"Last month you changed a meeting that was scheduled at Crescent to Blue Diamond and now you have changed one from Blue Diamond to Crescent. Why is that so?"

Aryan gulped. "Sir,.....The booking was full.....so sir,...."

"Really?" Ranbir raised an eye brow.

"Um...sir..." Aryan was trying hard to find an excuse.

"I know why you are doing this." Ranbir said.

That was it. Aryan was mentally preparing himself to get fired.

"It's because of that girl right?" Ranbir said.

Aryan was surprised. What was his boss talking about? How did he know about their plan?

"Prachi's assistant! You did it so that you can meet her." Ranbir said with a smirk.

Well, Ranbir Kohli was smart, but not that time.

Aryan did a dance of relief inside his head. Now what he had to do was play along with another lie to secure his plan and job.

"Sir...." he hoped that a blush would appear on his face. "That....there is nothing.....we're just friends."

"Don't try to fool me Aryan." Ranbir said.

Aryan looked apologetically at him.

"I have always told you not to be distracted during work." Ranbir continued. "Keep your professional and personal life apart."

"I am sorry sir." Aryan replied. "It will never happen again. I promise you, I will never schedule yours and Prachi ma'am's meetings at the same place again."

Well, that's not what he wanted. He wanted to keep Ranbir on track, that's all!

"Ahm...." Ranbir coughed. "That's not..... what I meant."

"Sir?" Aryan looked confusedly at him.

"What I meant was that...." Ranbir searched for the right words. "When I require your presence, you should be there. The other times....Ahem....you can do whatever you want."

Aryan again danced inside his head. But this time it was a victory dance. Their plan was working.

Ranbir Kohli was melting!

"Okay sir." Aryan said controlling his smile. "So, you don't mind me arranging your and Prachi ma'am's meetings at the same place?"

"Don't get too happy." Ranbir muttered and turned to his computer.

Aryan took his leave and happily went to his desk. That's when a fact came into his realization.

Shit!

"We need to meet today. Urgent!"

He texted and ran an anxious hand through his hair.
