THE ARRANGED LOVE STORY

EPISODE 31

The sunrays disturbed Aryan's sleep. He got up from the sofa and went towards the walked towards the washroom. On the way, he peeped into the bedroom to find his cute girl still sleeping. He kissed her lightly on the head and went inside the washroom.

The ringing of someone's phone made Shahana wake up grudgingly. 

"Hello?" she answered the call sleepily. 

There was silence at the other end for sometime. 

"Good morning Shahana, it's me, Prachi." Prachi's voice came from the other end. 

Shahana sat upright. "Good morning ma'am." she greeted. 

"Don't go to the office. Meet me at the Blue Diamond café." Prachi instructed. 

"Why is ma'am's voice sounding different today? May be she is with Ranbir sir right now." Shahana thought. "Yes ma'am. I will be there in time." she answered. 

"Doing inform Aryan about the same. Ranbir is unable to contact him." Prachi added. 

"Ok ma'am." Shahana replied. 

When the call was finally cut by Prachi, Shahana noticed that the caller id read 'BOSS'. The fact struck her that she hadn't saved Prachi's phone number by that name. Then, whose phone was it?

She looked up to see Aryan staring at her with worry. They realized what had happened and got tensed.

Ranbir and Prachi had spent most of the previous night together, being away from each other only for a few hours of sleep. 

They had scheduled a meeting of their families once again to discuss about their alliance. After informing Varun, Vikram and Pragya to come at the Blue Diamond café, they thought of calling their assistants too as they were the ones who knew about their schedule.  

Ranbir called Aryan.

"Hello?" a girl's voice spike from the other end. 

Ranbir didn't know what to do when one's assistant's half-sleepy girlfriend answers the call. He turned to Prachi for help. 

"It's your assistant. Looks like they had spent the night together and we have disturbed them." he talked in a muffled voice and handed over the phone to Prachi. 

Prachi had a hard time controlling her laughter during the phone call. 

"Looks like now I can't call Aryan too early in the morning in additional to late night." Ranbir sighed. 

"Late at night? Did you had another phone call mishap earlier?" Prachi asked with an amused smile. 

Ranbir narrated the incident when Aryan had thought him to be Shahana. 

Prachi laughed heartily at the story. Ranbir couldn't help but smile at the charming face.

"Looks like you are having a good time without us." Varun teased.

Ranbir glared at him for disturbing them while Varun shrugged his shoulders innocently.

"Umm.....Where is uncle?" Prachi asked apprehensively.

"We met your mom on the way and uncle found out that she was his collegemate. So, both of them have gone to visit their favourite place. They will be here soon." Varun informed.

A cab stopped and Aryan & Shahana got out of it. They went to stand near their respective bosses. 

"Sorry sir, I had left my phone at Shahana's place yesterday and she attended your call thinking it to be her phone." Aryan apologized.
