The Dragon

"Charge!" Called the lead guard, racing down the long prison hallway. I looked at Astrid and seen her and Pine exchange a glance. Then she looked at me and nodded. We all knew the plan. Protect Loki at all costs. Pine let out a yowl, and raced towards the guards, darting beneath their feet, and tripping a few of them. Then Pine raced out the door. I stared at the guards blankly, as they neared me and Astrid. Did Pine just abandon us? Jeez. Then I felt Astrid jab my side.
"Pay attention!" She growled, readying the dagger she got off of one of the previous guards.
"Let's do this." With a clash, she leaped into battle clanging the dagger against the guards armor. I began to freeze people, left and right, no one was able to even come close to me. Then I heard a loud roar. I turned towards the entrance and a small red dragon came bursting through the door, Pine clinging to its back.
"Pine ish here to sawv da day!" Yowled Pine.
"YEAH GO LOKITTY!!!!" Yelled Astrid. I took a step back and watched the utter destruction. The dragon crashed around, stomping on everyone. Crushing, powerful blows sent out large cracks as the dragon broke the guards bones. Pine yowled in delight watching this gruesome scene unfold. With a burst of orange fire, the dragon sent the remaining guards running. The dragon approached Astrid and nudged her shoulder.
"I'm fine, Star." She laughed. The dragon let out a deep rumbling sound.
"I dood eet." Mewed Pine happily. "I sooved da day."
"Yes you did." I chuckled. Then I noticed Loki's expression. It was a mix of horror and enjoyment. Astrid noticed to.
"What?"
"Where the hell did you get a dragon?" Loki asked, eyeing the creature. Astrid laughed.
"I'm not telling."

Allie, Astrid, Star and Pine had all left. And I was terrified.
*flashback*
Odin walked into the prison chambers glaring at Astrid and Allie.
"You dare kill my men?" He growled. "You will come with me."
*end of flashback*
"What will happen to them?" I asked myself aloud. My answer came right through the door. Pine raced across the hallway, and opened my cell door with his paw. There was a note tied around his neck. I carefully undid it and read the note to Pine.
"Allie, Pine, Star and I have been sentenced to a year in prison for murder. We all have the same punishment as you and will be tortured. We will also all share the same cell. This shall be fun. (Not really) Love, Astrid."
I read that one line over and over again. 'Will be tortured.' Pine slumped over in defeat. This poor cat was going to be abused...because of me. This was all my fault. They were protecting me. I rubbed Pine's ears. And a small voice in my head told me that one of us would not make it out alive.
