Mercy Of Odin

~~~~~~~~~~Loki's Point Of View~~~~~~~~~~
"Welcome back to Asguard." Heimdall greeted the four of us. "Odin is still in the throne room. Go directly to him." Thor nodded, and we went outside to the stables.
"Saddle up Niva, Canua, Dusky, and Aria!" Said Thor loudly. I leaned against the doorframe to the stables, and waited for the horses. Within about a minute, Canua and Dusky had been brought out.
"DUSKY!!!" Moira squealed with delight, hugging her horse. "It's been so long since I've seen you!" Thor stroked Canua's mane, and mounted her. Then Niva strutted out. Allie raced over to her and stroked her beautiful silver mane.
I walked over next to her, and gently patted Niva's head.
"I suppose you will be riding your horse." Said Allie softly. I gave her a curious look. "Yes, but how did you know she was my horse?"
"Thor let me ride her, when we came to Asguard. We were looking for you, so Thor had to get that tracky thingy and I came with."
I was about to respond, when suddenly I heard a whiny behind me.
Aria came prancing out beside a stable hand. Her blueish coat was very clean, and her legs were very muscular. I glanced at Allie who was heading over to Aria. She patted Arias head, then hopped onto her back. I swiftly mounted Niva, and the four of us began to ride across the rainbow bridge. Niva quickly took the head of the group, and despite me slowing her down a lot, we still made it to the other end first.
As the rest of the group showed up, I gave the Bifrost one last look. For all I knew, this would be the last time I ever saw it. Odin may give me a lifetime in prison.
Thor and Moira helped get the last three horses back into the stables, while Allie came over to me.
"Are you scared?" She asked quietly. I turned my gaze upon her. "No."
"But think of what your father could do to you. What punishment he might give you."
"He's not my father." I said softly. "And whatever punishment he can think up of is better than death."
Allie gave me a long look. "Do you think he will allow me to live on Asguard? I think I want to live here instead of Earth but...he might not let me."
I gave her a surprised look. Allie? Living on Asguard? Wow. That was a bold decision.
"Why do you wish to live on Asguard?" I asked ignoring her question.
"It's much nicer here than earth. Besides, I don't think my family would mind to much."
I smirked. A Midguardian family allowing there daughter to live on a realm unknown to them? And Thor might lose Mjoulneer. I'm saying that the chances of this happening are very very very low.
"Come on." Thor said, walking up to Allie and I. Allie gave me a long glance, and then followed behind Thor. With a sigh, I fell in step behind Moira.
As the sun began to set, we reached the castle. The gatekeepers opened up the large doors, and the four of us went in. Thor set a brisk pace, and within a couple minutes we were in the throne room.
The four of us walked up to the throne. We all got on to our knees, and bowed before Odin. With much effort, he stood up.
"Thor! I see you have brought Loki back. Good job. But, who are these girls?"
Moira quickly stood up. "DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ME?!?! I AM YOUR DAUGHTER!!!!"
Odin gave her a tired glance. "Moira?" He asked.
"YES ITS MOIRA, YOU STUPID IGNORANT MAN!!!" Screeched Moira.
Odin raised his eyebrow. "How dare you speak to a king in that tone. I don't care if your my daughter. I DONT CARE!"
Moira looked taken aback at Odin's harsh words. She whispered something under her breath, that would not be acceptable to repeat.
"This is Allie." Said Thor pretending like nothing happened. "She comes from Midguard. She helped us get Loki back."
"Thank you, Allie." Odin said, his voice still holding a hint of anger. That's when the question was asked. The one I had been dreading.
"What is Loki's punishment?"
Odin stared at me a thoughtful look in his eye. His gaze was making me very uncomfortable. Then he spoke.
"Loki Lauffeyson. You have murdered helpless Midguardians and tried to start a war. For this treason to Asguard, you have been sentenced to a lifetime in prison."
I heard Allie and Moira gasp, and Thor sighed. I hung my head. There was no way out of this. Then Moira spoke.
"Great King Odin." She whispered. "You haven't heard the whole story. You only know of what happened on Midguard. You do not know what went on during the other part."
Odin gave her a glare.
"What did happen, that could change Lokis punishment?"
So Thor explained everything. From the moment he arrived on Zynoheim, to the death of the Phy. Thankfully he left out the part with my.... Dream. I stayed quiet while Thor explained. Then, after he was done Odin looked at me.
"Is all this true?" I nodded.
"Then your punishment will be shortened. You will spend a year in prison, for your courageous acts."
I was amazed. That's thousands of years shortened! Us Asguardians live for a looooong time.
I bowed before my father, even though I wished he was bowing before me. 😈
"Thank You."
