Allie stared at Loki. She felt very sorry for the beaten up god. "Come on!" Yelled Coulson from the meeting room. "Ok!" Called Allie. As she walked out of the dark room, she cast one last glance at the figure slumped against the wall.
She walked out to find the Avengers all staring at her, except for Thor, with grins on their faces. Tony Stark walked up to Allie and slapped her on the back. "Smooth." He giggled. "You demanded him give it to you instead of trying to gain his trust." Tony broke into a full out laugh. " I'm sorry." Snapped Allie. "I didn't just get here or anything!" "It's ok." Said Coulson. "You will get acquainted with this place soon." "Wait? You mean I'm staying here?" Asked Allie suddenly panicked. "Yes...remember, I told you that you need to be able to control your powers." "Yea... Right. But what about my family? My friends? My boyfriend?" "Don't worry." Reassured Coulson. "They will be told that you were hurt in the fire, and that we are taking care of you for a little bit. Now, follow me, to your living quarters." He began to walk down the second hallway. "Wait, Coulson..." Said Allie with a confused look. "Won't they ask to visit me?" "We will deal with that. So come on!" Allie raced after Coulson. They passed six doors each with a name on it. Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Thor, etc. Then they came to four empty doors. "These are for any extra...Avengers." Coulson explained. "This is where you will stay, for now, as you learn to control your powers." "Thanks." Allie replied, stepping into the large room, next to the one labeled: Thor.
The room was large and cream colored. A king sized bed sat agains the right wall, and a large closet on the left. A small tan nightstand stood next to the bed. There was a large window and a cushioned window seat on the front wall. From the window Allie see lots of water. There was a door that led to a small private bathroom. "I'll meet you in the meeting room tomorrow. For now get comfortable." Coulson closed the door, and Allie could here his footsteps as he left the hallway. She lay down on the soft bed and let out a huge sigh. She closed her eyes. Then suddenly an image flashed into her mind. The bloody mess of Loki, laying in a pool of his own blood. Had he been helped? Was he still just laying there, injured? Allie stood up. She wanted to check on him. But why? He had attacked her and shown nothing but hatred. Allie slowly creaked open her door. She walked along the hallway into the meeting room.
Tony sat, sipping some drink, and talking to Thor. The other Avengers were no where to be seen. She slowly snuck into the room, heading to the other hallway. "Whatcha doing?" Asked Tony, suddenly looking at her. "Oh um." Allie could feel her face turning red. "I was..." Thor stood up. "I know your intentions." He said in a deep voice. "I will come with you."
Tony just sat in the chair. "Ok while you guys do whatever, I'll just stay here." He flashed Allie a charming smile and Allie blushed. "Let's go." Said Thor, walking down the hallway to Loki's cell. Allie followed closely behind. "So, Lady Allie, why do you seek my brother?" Allie blushed again realizing her reason for seeing Loki was...silly. "I just wanted to um... Try and do my mission and gain a little trust from him." She lied. "Ok then." Thor said stopping at Loki's door. "I'll leave you alone in there."
Allie gave Thor a false smile. "Thanks." She said as she pushed open the door to the dark room. Her cheek began to sting. It was one of the many places, besides her stomach, that Loki had hit her at. She quickly glanced at her right arm, still a little bloody, from two of the punches. "Hello?" She called out. She could see Loki sitting on a small bench, that extended from the see-though wall.
"I see you have returned." Snarled Loki, his emerald glare seemingly piercing her.
Loki slowly stood up. He winced in pain as he got to his feet, and his eyes showed true pain as he slowly walked over to Allie. As he stared at her, through the transparent wall, Allie noticed that the inside of the left cuff of his suit was red. He held his wounded hand. He noticed Allie looking at it and quickly shielded it with his right hand. "What do you want?" He growled.
"Loki, I just umm... Did anyone care to clean you up after... Y'know... Thor beat you up."
"Why would a mortal like you care anyway?" Loki replied, his voice a little softer. Allie didn't answer. She didn't know HOW to answer. She just stared into Loki's beautiful emerald eyes. Loki turned away from her staring.
"Just go away." He growled. "Loki...you..." "I WHAT?" Snapped Loki, whipping around. Allie backed away from the angry god of mischief. "Never mind." She said, quickly rushing out of the room. She raced back to her room, not even glancing at Tony or Thor.
She just ran. When Allie reached her room she slammed the door shut and lay on her bed. "Loki your eyes... are gorgeous." She whispered to herself.
