"Spill it!" Alice screamed as Dorcas walked through door to the girl's dormitory. Dorcas had gotten back rather late last night after her date with Remus, the girls hadn't had anytime to interrogate Dorcas yet. They found their opportunity the next morning after Dorcas got back from showering immediately hounding the poor girl with loads of questions.
Her deep complected cheeks still managed to show a blush as she tried to hide her face from the girls. "Oh my god!" Lily stood up. "Did you two do it?" Clara looked over to Lily with a shocked expression adorning her face. Clara couldn't believe Lily, of all people, would come out and ask that.
"No! Godric Lily!" Dorcas' cheeks flushed even more. "We had a wonderful time though." She went to sit down on her bed.
"What'd you do? What happened? Do tell!" Clara asked with thrill in her voice bounding over to sit next to Dorcas on her bed.
"We went to Hogsmeade, shopped around and grabbed a few Firewhiskey's. Spent most of the day down there actually. We talked about anything and everything." Dorcas grinned. "We came back to the castle and didn't want the day to end so we just walked and talked. He's such a gentleman."
"Aww." Alice cooed.
Lily clapped. "You definitely picked the good one out of that group." She gave a side eye to Clara placing an emphasis on the word one.
"What?" Clara asked, oblivious.
"You stumbled incoherently in the dorm last night! Rambling on and on about the most random things. I can't believe Black would let you get that drunk!" She huffed.
Alice and Dorcas both turned their attention to Clara unaware of their friends condition the previous night. "I wasn't that drunk." Clara laughed. "It was me anyway. Couldn't stop drinking those Butterbeers."
"Don't defend him!" Lily wasn't backing down.
Clara sighed. "He was actually quite the gentleman Lily. Brought me back and everything, even when I asked. Caught me when I nearly fell."
"Since when do you and Black have something going on?" Alice asked curiosity flashing through her eyes.
"We don't have anything going on. We just went for a few drinks yesterday that's all." Clara shrugged as nonchalantly as she could.
The three of them shared knowing looks. "What!" Clara threw her hands up dramatically.
"Just don't get hurt Clara." Dorcas smiled giving her a side hug. "We really care about you. You haven't been here long enough to see the damage that Sirius Black can do. He had a fling with Mary last year and broke her heart right before her birthday. She was devastated for weeks!"
"Alright!" Clara laughed. "You have all made it very clear. Nothing is going to happen between us."
