Chapter 6 - Anyone Besides You

Seoul, 6:10 am

Jisoo POV

I was awakened by Dalgom as he was barking rather annoyingly as he kept on sniffing around the bed. I am not in any way pleased by his early morning behavior. I just know that this little brat wants something, and I am definitely irritated as I was still nothing but a sleepy potato.

"Dalgomie! I told you before, stop with this early morning routine of yours! Its not funny!" I scold my dog, as if he would somewhat listen.

Aissshh! Was all I can muster as he did nothing but wiggle his tail as he looked at me with pleading eyes. What can I do, my son is starving. I sighed as I dreadfully stood up to pour on some water and dog food on his bowls. Tsk, you and your annoying appetite, aisshh! I said to him as he devoured his food.

I walked back towards my bed as I reached for my phone. 6:11 am. It was still early for me as I usually wake up around 7 or 7:30 am. As I wait for Dalgom to finish his food, which looks like it will be gone any minute now, I checked my messages. As expected, Jennie sent me one as I sent her a couple of messages last night.

Hi Chu! Good morning! Anthony emailed me regarding his invitation and so I decided to go. It would be a shame if we wouldn't go right? Plus, I am certain it would be good chance to mingle and meet people for future collaborations. Don't worry, I couldn't say no to my boss either 😏😚

Thank God for Jennie! She is truly one awesome woman. That's also one thing I admire about her- she is very dedicated and responsible. Despite being notified the last minute, she still chose to attend as I did ask her to. No wonder she's doing so well as the editor-in-chief. She knows how to adjust and makes things work even under pressure. I just love her professionalism and over-all attitude, specially when it comes to work.

I decided to reply, "Jen, you are awesome as always! I owe you this one, seriously! Anyway, I hope you'll have fun tonight and please send my best regards to Anthony!"

After sending the message, I went back to bed as Dalgomie managed to finish his food in a flash. "Okay you furball, come here and let me take our picture so I can show you to your annoying human version", I told Dalgom as I scooped him up from the floor unto the bed.

I snap a photo of us and I decided to send it to my another annoying but lovable animal, Lalisa.
"Greetings from me and my son! Who by the way, made me wake up an hour and a half earlier than usual. This dog's appetite is so confusing. I truly believe he got this attitude from you... you know, being annoying! But, nonetheless I both love you. Thank God for my patience for my pets! Have a good night, my Monkey!".

For sure, she will like it. I smiled as I yawned. I still have at least an hour more to sleep, I better make the most out of it.

Rose POV

"Coming!!!", I heard Jennie said as I knocked on her apartment door. I came to pick her up as we were both set to attend Anthony's YSL Dinner Party. Oh, I've missed this place. This brings back wonderful memories...with Her, I thought as I smiled.

I was pulled out of my thought as Jennie opened the door and spoke, "ROSIE!!! Oh my Gosh, you look so stunning!!! And I've missed you!!!

I held her hand as we squealed and immediately pulled each other for a hug. "Unnie!!! Oh God, I missed you too!!! Its so good to see you!!!", I said as we continued hugging each other.

We pulled away after a few seconds as I checked her out. "Wow Jen, you look amazing!!! Jeeez!! My date is F.I.R.E!!!" I cooed. Who am I kidding? She is Hot alright! No wonder guys and probably girls are all drooling for her.
