Chapter 28- Teary Eyed Kim Jisoo

The double celebration was filled with laughter and a lot of mingling. J.Kim Company has made its name in the fashion and entertainment industry as one of the most promising agencies in Asia, thanks to Jisoo's impeccable determination and focus in her craft. Her parents, especially her father is so proud of her and her achievements. She is the sole heir of the Kim Holdings, and her parents has always been supportive to everything that she decides on. That is how much they trust and love their daughter.

And so, when Jisoo finally introduced Rosie as her girlfriend on the day they became official, Mr. and Mrs. Kim were more than delighted to accept the woman whom their daughter have been inspired of for the last few years. To say that Rosie was beyond nervous was an understatement. But nonetheless, she is completely adored by Chu's parents, especially Mrs. Kim.

"I think my mom has forgotten that I am her daughter. You know? The actual birthday girl?", Jisoo spoke as she kept looking at her girlfriend who was at the table across the open space with her mom. The blondie and Mrs. Kim has been inseparable after dinner was served and her mom has been introducing her girl to the rest of their family and friends.

"Aunt Ye-jin has finally found her dream daughter. Aren't you happy for her? Rosie is such a sweetheart". Lisa said as she draped her arm on her sulking bestfriend's shoulder.

"Fuck you. I AM a sweetheart. She just adores my girl too much. Imagine, the minute they met again after all these years, my mom and Chaeng had their own world, they have practically forgotten that dad and I existed."

The rest of the gang laughed at how adorable Chu is being. They have been prying on the birthday girl for the last 30 minutes since Rosie was dragged away willingly (much to Jisoo's liking) by her mom, leaving her irritated.

"Jeez Unnie, I never pegged you as the possessive kind of lover", Jennie commented as she sipped on her third glass of champagne.

"Oh, she's not. Only with Chaeng apparently, right Jacko?"

Jennie along with Irene threw a questioning look to what Lisa have said.

"Why are you asking Jackson, Monkey?" This time, Irene asked.

"Asking Jackson what, Rinny Unnie?" Rosie suddenly made her presence known. She finally managed to excuse herself back to their table with her friends and her birthday girl, whom she hugged from behind.

Jackson dabbed his mouth with the table napkin before speaking as he faced Jisoo who was seating a chair away from him. 

"Well yeah, that's true though. My beloved, you were never the possessive type. That pinches my heart." He said as he palmed his chest, acting hurt.

"Ou-ouch! Ouchh!"

"Serves you right, dumbass!" Jisoo said after she reached for Jackson's ear, pulling it forcefully.

All of them laughed, especially Bam, Lucas, Seulgs and Lisa. Even Rosie who tried stopping her girlfriend from ripping off Jackson's reddened ear. She then sat on the chair between the two.

"I think I'm still at loss here", Jennie stated. "Yeah, me too", Irene agreed, still confused.

"Oh. You ladies didn't know? Jackson and my Jichu were ex's. High school sweethearts" Rosie nonchalantly answered as she devoured a spoonful of Crème Brûlée.

"Mmmm, Baby this is so good! Here, say Aaahhh...", she added as she tries to feed Jisoo.

"You're exes!?" Jennie and Irene spoke in unison, both surprised with the new information.

The rest of them laughed at the two's reactions. Well, except Jisoo who was still being fed by Rosie who was just adoring her pouting girlfriend, and Jackson who rested both his elbows on the table with a dreamy smile on his face.
