Chapter 12- Teasing Exchange

New York, 12:40 am

Lisa POV

Fuck.

"Well, about that...I ughmm, I wasn't able to get it," I told her as I sighed. How could I forget about that? Pfft. If it wasn't for that fucker, Kai. I pinched the bridge of my nose as I remembered that Pig.

"Well, I'd be damned. The great Lalisa Pranpriya, failed to get a woman's number? That's news!" She tauntingly said.

"Aaah Park Chaeyoung!! What are you saying? I don't get women's numbers all the time?!! Plus, I was about to get it, okay? I did ask of course!", I defended.

"Well enlighten me then. What happened? Perhaps Chu was right, Jennie's your match, but the tough cookie kind, I mean she pro-...."

Before she blabbers some more, I decided to tell her. "Jongin. Jongin fucking happened." I sighed as I massage my nape.

"Hey, no cursing! But Jongin? I knewrr he did something to piss you off. What was it? I totally forgot to ask Jennie about it."

I then decided to tell her what exactly happened. I guess no sleep for me yet.

Third Person POV

Seoul, 1:40 pm

Jisoo just was on the elevator when she received a message from Jennie. She furrowed her eyebrows as she glanced to her watch. She knew its almost 1 am in New York. Why is she still up? She thought. She then stepped out of the elevator as she walked towards her office. She just had her late lunch.

Jendeuk: Hi Unnie! Just got back at your place. Rosie dropped me off. The party was great! But of course, they were looking for you. Nonetheless, they would like to send their best regards to you. Tonight was really fun.

After reading the message, Jisoo decided to call Jennie as she was sure she is yet to sleep because that lady never skip her nightly beauty routine before sleeping. And as expected, Jennie answered. They talked for quite some time as Jisoo asked about her successful mission to introduce JenLisa to each other. She was more than happy to tease Jennie about the whole thing. You can say that she was very proud of the end result of her 'almost failed mission'.

On the other hand, Jennie did not let Jisoo get away with her facetime with Rosie. She opted to change the topic towards that before she tells her about the Lisa-Kai incident, thinking that it might spoil her chance to pry on the ChaeSoo virtual interaction.

Jisoo POV

"Oh my gosh Chu, we seriously squealed the moment she said that she'll be at your party! Rosie was a blushing mess, and we can't help but tease her about it! She was the cutest blushing tomato!", she informed me.

I can't help but smile. Blushing mess huh? That's a good sign, right?

"Hey, maybe you bullied Chaeng too much, huh? Poor Chipmunk, for sure Lisa teased her a lot."

"She kinda did actually! Rosie kept whining coz of Lisa's teasing", she giggled.

Oh this girl seemed blissful about Lisa's antics, huh? I knew she'll like her. And I am certain that that Monkey feels the same way. How can I tell? Well, I'm Jisoo. I just know and I'm never wrong.

"Seems to me that you and that monkey hit it off pretty well huh?" I teased.

"Nope, nu-uh Not that topic yet! We're not done discussing your virtual rendezvous with your Rosie Posie! Now, you have to tell me how you asked her to be at your party." This Mandu won't budge yet. I rolled my eyes.
