Chapter 30- Aunt Janice

Jisoo POV

Pri and I's emotional hug was interrupted by a very familiar voice.

"My, my! What a wonderful party you have here! Happy birthday, Jisoo dear!"

"Oh my, Aunt Janice! You made it!", I said as I detached myself from Lisa. I quickly went to hug her.

"Mom? I thought you said you couldn't make it. You could have told me you know", I heard Jennie sounding as surprised as everyone.

"Well, I am here now my lovely Jane. It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you, right?", Aunt Janice then went to hold her daughter who was pouting but nonetheless gave her mom a kiss and hug. This mandu is such a whining baby.

"Besides, I wouldn't want to miss this special occasion. Jisoo, happy happy birthday again! You look so beautiful, my dear!", she added.

"Thank you, Auntie. I am glad you came. But did you just come in? Have you eaten already auntie?", I asked.

"Oh no, I came just in time to witness the wonderful surprise prepared by these handsome and very lovely peers of yours", she said as she gazed to my friends.

"Oh geez! Where are my manners? Aunt Janice, these are my friends. Of course, you have met Bam, Seulgi and Irene", I started as the three waved and bowed at her.

"These two handsome fellows are siblings, Jackson and Lucas Wang. Bam, Seulgi and Jackson are actually my high school friends."

Jacko and Lucas shook Aunt Janice's hand as they greeted each other. I took that chance to stand next to my Chaeng, while I gave Jennie a knowing smile as she stood next to Lisa.

"And i also like to introduce to you my beautiful girlfriend, Park Chaeyoung", I proudly said as my woman shook Aunt's hands this time.

"Hello, Mrs. Kim. It's nice to mee you. Please call me Rosie."

"Ah yes, of course, YSL's ambassador. You are very beautiful, my dear. I am happy to know that our dear Jisoo is finally dating". This is why I adore her, Aunt Janice is so warm and supportive, just like her daughter.

She then turned her attention to Pri. "And lastly, my best friend, Lalisa Manoban" I simply said as I gave Jennie a knowing look which she returned with a semi-glare. Haha! I love teasing her, especially now that her mom and her future lover meets for the first time.

"Hi Mrs. Kim, it's so lovely to meet you." Lisa said as she shook hands with her future mother-in-law. Kekekeke!

"Ah, yes, Lalisa. Nice to meet you too. Can I just say, you are very beautiful in person. I have seen you in magazines and tv ads. It's wonderful to know that you are friends with Jisoo." Aunt Janice quipped.

"Oh, we are all close friends way back in high school, Auntie. Lisa, Jacko and lucas are actually cousins."

"It's really lovely to meet all of you. And let me just say, your dance, boys, suelgi and Lisa, wow! Amazing! And the songs too! Rosie, what an angelic voice, my dear. And of course, Lisa you are such a very talented woman." Aunt Janice continued praising my friends, especially Lisa.

While Aunt Janice, Rosie and Lisa continued talking, the boys went back to mingling while me, SuelRene and Jennie looked on towards the three ladies.

"Hmmm, looks like our Jennie here can't seem to speak much huh?", Irene commented.

"Yeah. Looks like Lisa's getting along pretty well with Mama Kim already. Our Thai Monkey charmed your mom, right off the bat, Jennie", Seulgi said this time.
