Chapter 11- Jennie's Butterflies and Pinching Feeling

New York, 12:09 am

Jennie POV

"Jennie! There you are... I thought you already left. Perhaps, you were waiting for me?", said the most conceited jerk I have ever met in my entire existence. Kai was sporting his stupid smirk. I snapped my head towards him with my bitch face. I was about to talk when I was cut off.

"Well, well, if it isn't Mr. Daddy's boy...What an unwelcomed way for you to interrupt us", Lisa spit out sternly. She looked so serious and angry? She clenched her fist as her jawline hardened. Hot as fu-... Wait, what?? I shook off my thoughts.

I suddenly reached for her fisted hand as I gently rubbed it with my thumb. She seemed surprised with my action as I was too. She then looked at me as I noticed that her stern face softens. But what she did next awakened the butterflies in my tummy.

She swiftly intertwined are hands as she slowly tugs me closer to her and in the process making me internally scream my giddiness away. Now I was the one clenching my jaw in an attempt to stop me from smiling. To make the matters worse, she was slowly caressing my thumb with hers, as if calming me down. But it was completely doing the opposite. Forget the butterflies, she just opened the whole damn zoo! I can't help but to look at her as she was still staring back at me with her doe-eyes that seems to ask 'is-this-okay?' as she glanced down at our intertwined hands and looked back at me again. I slowly nodded as I puckered my lips inward while holding her hand more firmly.

I have never felt so comfortable and safe with anyone like this before. Its as if it was only the two of us at that moment. But then of course, just like in any movie, there will always be an antagonist.

The jerk spoke, "Shut it, Manoban. I wasn't talking to you." He was obviously pissed as he clenched his jaw as he looked at our intertwined hands. But then he looked at me and smirked as he continued, "I see... You and this pretty lil' hottie seems to be having fun, care to share Lalisa?" This DISGUSTING PIG!

"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?!!", I flinched as I heard Lisa say furiously. I didn't realize she was holding him by the collar of his coat.

"Lis!", I said as I tried to tug her back towards me, but she didn't even flinch. I let go of our intertwined hand as I stepped right in front of her, and I held on to her stretched arm that was firmly holding Kai's coat with my other hand holding her waist. I almost didn't recognize her face. Gone is the sweet smile and tantalizing doe-eyes. She was fuming and her eyes were burning with anger towards Kai.

"What the heck is happening here?!!", Chaeng said as she reappears. She was so shocked as she was looking at each one of us.

It was only then I heard Kai chuckling, so I turned to him and saw Lisa's hand tugging tighter to his collar. He then threw both his hands up as he continued to smirk at Lisa. I turned my gaze back to her as I held her waist more firmly. It was only then she looked at me.

"Lisa, please. He's not worth it", I pleaded as I looked deeply into her eyes. She let out a heavy sigh before I felt her pushing Kai away as she let go of his collar. She then gazed back at him with her clenched jaw again.

I then looked at Kai who was fixing his collar and pretending to dust off his coat.

"You better leave or else-..." Lisa said.

"Or else what, Manoban? Are you gonna go berserk again, huh? That would be entertaining, don't you think?" Kai tauntingly said.

"You really want me to knock the lights out of you again you fucking asshole!", Lisa retorted as she made an attempt to reach for Kai again, but I stopped her by holding firmly on her waist and chest.
