"Why are we at Yoongi's old apartment, Jungkook?"
After Jimin and Jungkook left the headquarters by the younger's request for Jimin to check on something, the two of them arrived in front of the apartment building where Yoongi used to live before that fateful night when he was also kidnapped. It didn't take long for them to arrive since they used their motorcycles, and the apartment building was only a few blocks away.
Jungkook takes off his helmet, and so does Jimin as they get off their motorcycles and stare at the three-story building, which already looked haunted and broken down; most likely because of the neighborhood that the building is in, the landlady not taking care of the place, and the tenants that are usually filled with criminals and perform heinous crimes out or even inside of their own apartments. Jimin can only imagine how Yoongi managed to live in this dump for the past year or so.
"I was making my rounds," The younger starts and gives his Hyung an annoyed look. "Which was supposed to be your job since you were the one listed for solo patrol today."
"Right, sorry about that, Taehyung and I got sidetracked," Jimin apologizes. He knows how much Jungkook hated making rounds when it's not his day.
"Speaking of that," Jungkook gets sidetracked the moment he remembered the reason why Jimin wasn't there to do his job in the first place. "Where did you and Taehyungie Hyung go anyway? I mean, the least you could do is send us a message or leave a note. We were really worried."
Jimin looks down on the ground and hides his hands in his pockets, feeling guilty for worrying his friends.
"Even Yoongi Hyung was worried!" The younger continues, sighing as he remembered how Yoongi almost went into panic mode when he heard that he and Taehyung went missing this morning. At the sound of this, Jimin's head shot up, and he stared at Jungkook with wide eyes.
"We had to reassure him that you two were coming back alive even though we didn't really know where the two of you ran off. He thought you might have rushed to Monsta X's headquarters on his behalf and was really worried that you two might get hurt."
"He was that worried?" Jimin couldn't help but smile at the thought of Yoongi still caring about him and his well-being. The other seemed to notice his sudden change of expression, and Jungkook pouted.
It looks like the feeling is mutual, Min Yoongi.
"Yah! Don't get any ideas; he was also worried about Taehyungie Hyung too."
Jimin couldn't help but chuckle at his friend's words. Looking back at the building in front of them, his expression and mood quickly changed, "What about Yoongi's apartment? You said you wanted to show me something?"
Finally, Jungkook came back to his senses and remembered the reason why he asked Jimin to come out in the first place. He nods in response, and just like Jimin, his expression and mood quickly changed as he turns his gaze back to the crumbling building.
